Path to the Amalfi! Zara Tier 6 Italian Cruiser (World of Warships Legends) 

ITA cruisers are not my favorite but are not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I love that you choose to go sneaky. I did the same with my Atlanta. Got my detect down to 8.6km. Sneaky cruisers hunting dd's is a LOT of fun. And in those rare games that there are no DD's, you with your sneaky cruiser acting as a faux DD can really make for some interesting games.

Zara is a heartbreaker for all ships coming up against her, removes dds nicely, whacks CAs beautifully and ego checks BBs with hard shots to the jawline just have map awareness and wiggle that tail, interesting you run concealment never thought to but definitely would have advantages especially against those little sneaky bastard dds

just don't run into a warspite! warspite nuked the Zara IRL

I think what they mean when they say sluggish shot is that the turrets rotate slowly not the speed of the shell. These cruisers are pretty maneuverable. They do pretty decent Open water gun, boating. And if you start to get focused too much, you can just pop a smoke and get out of there. That’s what I like the most about them.

I like to run Zara without the torpedo upgrade, which gives it a 12 km torp range. Still not sure why the upgrade cuts it by 2 kms but c'est la vie.

I maxed speed on Mimbelli and stealth on Campioni. If you look at their skills I think you'll find that they are better suited this way.

SAP is a bit like IJN BB’s you’ll get some great hits then you won’t really get anything. They area harder line to play as you go up in tier.

They should have had sap with HE . As it is now it’s a hard to want to play this line vs other.

So you say 30mm can stop 16in shells, is it the same for belt armor as bow armor? But the side armor can still be over match because of the flatness and not because its curved? Ive seen 30mm bow stop 16in guns but the belt doesnt behave as such. Im assuming angles have alot to do with it? Im talking in general and not just the Italian cruisers
