I finally got a chance to take the $300 Project Cheapfinder Nissan Pathfinder out for a joyride and it didn't last long!
A few laps around the gravel pit and a few jumps and the rear axle decided it had enough and the rear suspension links ripped right off the frame.
Time to bring it back to the shop and pull the rest of the parts off I need for the Pathmaker Rig!

This video was reminding me of one of the first i saw you post many years back, when you guys had the other Pathy that was getting jumped at some obstacle coarse with cars for jumps. that thing took a real beating and kept on ticking i remember the gas tank being dragged around but the frame held up better. Whenever i get one of these running scrap rigs it always calls for a "FIELD TEST" which is take it into a field and see how she holds up. Good 1 bro.

PathmakerProductions Ya man my dad gave me his old Chevy Tahoe 6 cylinder truck. It looked a little like this one and reminded me of it. I know it is not the same by far and can not be compared but the torture it withheld is epic. I let a ex use it to take my kids to school and she basically lost it and I almost cried. I wish I had her still. Id be doing this with it 👊😀

Well good times are only a few hundred dollars away! That one was a $300 special that I pulled the windshield out of for my rig (worth $300 retail) and the EFI off it. I might spend $500 on the next one so its a little less rusty haha

We had a diesel version. We don't have rust issues like that in NZ but in fairness, these trucks are only good for bashing around like you guys have been doing. Next to the Surf/Four runner, these are pale and semi-reliable choices of transport for broke-arses and stoners needing a 4WD to get to their bush-plot. Good on ya boys, nobody got hurt but next time get a Pathfailure with less rust!
