After this conversation Patrice is even more of an inspiration to me than before, thank you for being incredibly open and honest with me 🙏🏽.... hit like and subscribe for episodes every Monday morning
@@mrspilling7664 I see your point about labeling someone with their job title but a person who's not that well known all over the world, it helps to identify them with their achievements or something that the individual was identified with.
Liverpool fan, but admired him as a player. As much as I hate losing against them, I admired those Sir Alex last decade days with Cr7, Patrice etc. He's not only a great player but a kind human being till this day. This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing Patrice. My respect for him has gone up the roof and beyond. What a man, what a player he was
Holy fk man... who was it that did that to you?? (I swear not te be rude but to be aware of who those awful ppl can be and behind what identity they can be hiding)
I have only discovered the youtube channel now. So far I was listnening on the podcasts app, I am sure many more have listened to it on audio only. I agree, beautiful podcast indeed.
Just when I thought that the podcast couldnt get any better.. it does! I appreciate hosts like Steven who allow guests to speak and asks questions based on what they are being told and not just a list of things to tick off in a podcast. Its like he hosts and is listening like a consumer at the same time. Real skill. Thank you for the consistent gift which is 'Diary of a CEO'!!!
Just sent this episode to my two sons (21 and 18 years old). So grateful that people like this take the time to share and are able to reach my kids in ways i never could.
💪💪💪💪 it's good to see the respectful unfiltered dive into the history of your guests Steve, i think too often hosts skirt the edges of what so many of us can relate to and find inspirational strength from,. Kudos to both!
I thank you from a single woman in her early 50s that you are bringing a wonderful new view forth for men to be open, not feel weak, realise they can speak their truth without feeling weak……… many are so very closed off and it can be a devastating dealbreaker Being transparent in a relationship is essential…… your work is truly refreshing and inspirational, long my it continue xx♥️🙏
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful human being. The more men that open up to their vulnerability and support each other in doing it, the better this world will be. Thank you both x
I’m a united fan and I love everything about Patrice, his loyalty, dedication, respect, funny and charismatic personality but this just adds another level of respect that I and millions will now have for him, what a man!! We love you Patrice 🔴 🔴
You never know what is going through the happiest looking people's head, especially for someone like Patrice who just seems genuinely happy all the time, me being a depressed person I can resonate
me second time watching this, Patrice is an amazing soul and genuine human. This interview should be watched by everyone and shown in all schools and academies
Glad I saved this to watch later at night.. No fan of football but Man! His story about his happiest times sums up the joy most children in impoverished countries feel. I would know cos I was one of those kids... clothes torn, unsure where next meal was coming from, struggles at home but there's a sense of joy that's inexplicable even in such circumstances. Patrice, you spoke for me and most people who have felt that Joy in the not so ideal circumstances Thank you! 😊
Honestly this was on of the best DCEO i have seen. As an arsenal fan I always respected Evra but he was ManU... he came across really well, never judge a book by its cover.
Omg omg 😭😭😭 this episode is THE GREATEST OF ALL HISTORY THANK YOU for sharing all these pure emotions can’t describe how much I’m grateful that I watched this episode
This was one of the most genuine and real podcasts I’ve been been witness to. Thank YOU, thank you Patrice, thank you Steven 🙏🤍 This conversation touched up on so many valuable topics.
I’m really going through something right now and just listening to Patrice Evra’s story and the way you articulate your feelings and questions really opened my eyes and helped me. Keep up the amazing work
Mr "I love this game", it show that what we see on the outside is not the full story. Treat every one with kindness you don't know what they are going through. 🙌
Already lived Evra as a Manchester man .... watched on Wim Hof .... love you more Patrice! inspire me as a male with mental health issues. "man up and cry ". LEGEND ❤
WOW ! This brought me to tears at least half a dozen times…… there is a name for people like you Patrice and that is “ Earth Angel “ blessings to and your family, Peace & big respect 🙏😇 x
Wow, thank you both so much for sharing ❤️This episode was so moving, I listened on my morning walk and couldn't help but get teary. I feel like this conversation is going to help a lot of people x
@@TheDiaryOfACEO I enjoy listening to the people that you bring. Many of them I don't know. Each interview makes me think while asking myself some questions, examinating parts of my life.
May Allah bless & reward you both & deep respect to the two of you, I’m a 66 yr old grandmother listening to this from 1.30 am eager to share this interview with friends & family, I praise & thank Allah that he guided me to listen & pay attention to you, with much love & gratitude. thank you
I’m a city fan. Patrice’s story is inspiring he strips away all of any ego he has, let’s us into his vulnerabilities and also showcases how u can get through the toughest things imaginable. Can’t say enough how much I respect the man for saying all that he has said here because I myself would shut down I bottle things up. Patrice opened his heart and mind to us and I respect it so much. Also Steven loving all the interviews I know this is from a while ago but u really know how and when to talk and when to let a guest speak. As an aspiring journalist and somebody who wants to make podcasts ur a great inspiration.
What a profound and beautiful conversation. I've never subscribed with more conviction. You're both enormous role models, even for an older fella like myself. Bravo and thank you so very much. I'm your new biggest fan.
Evra is a great guy. He was great in dressing room as well. He didn't have toxic masculinity. Being focused and not emotional while working isn't weakness. We should all express our emotions, but not always. Balance is most important thing in life.
I can only start with one word... wowser! Mr. Evra , thank you so much for sharing your journey, your one heck of a human being 🤗🙌 I'm in awe of your spirit and you have a wonderful partner. I recall being told when I was younger "love is like a rainbow, so very hard to catch" , you certainly caught your love, your rainbow.🤗 Thank you, I wish you & your family a happy, healthy and wealthy life 😊 Mr Bartlett, this has been an incredible podcast, I am still feeling emotional & wow, what a wonderful, inspiring journey 🙌 Thank you & your team, incredible!! Wishing you all a great day 🤗
Super excited to watch, I have watched every episode since the beginning of 2020 on YT and Apple Podcasts and have learnt so much. (I watch on both because honestly it’s a totally different experience and I actually find I pick up different things) Tickets are on sale this week for the diary of a ceo tour live and I’m sooo worried I won’t get a ticket, everyone pray for me and also set your alarms to get yours!!
Beautiful, such a simple soul with a simple message. One of love, inspiration and simple joy of life. A warrior who got what he deserved, a good means to survive and lots of love and an open mind to grow into an even brighter future. Through this podcast I get to love and feel a deep friendship for people that are strangers to me before listening to them (even if I know them a little through media) . It is a huge inspiration and creates a strong desire to meet up and be more connected. Everyone has these amazing stories, it's just about telling them and listening to them. Thank you so much for hosting and having this project and for participating. Wonderful brothers you 2, much love!
I've only just listened to this podcast but this was by far the most beautiful one i've watched/listened to. There was so many more layers to Patrice than I thought there ever would be
What an awesome conversation. Keep doing what you're doing Steve. What an amazing man Patrise is. Sending love to both of you and your families all the way from South Africa ❤
Christ, what a story and I hope that Headmaster had anything that’s bad in life to happen to him personally, and total respect to you Patrice for turning your life around, not a bad career was it 👏👏👍👍 From Chris(Arsenal Fan)
As a United fan this man embodied everything a fan wants to see from a player. He learned our history and why it’s important to us and what it mean. A true Manchester United legend in every sense of the word.
We love you Patrice! Thank you for your honesty, and thank you for the memories of your time at United, you’re stronger than most! Much love and love seeing you on Vibe with Five with Rio and the boys 🤍♥️🖤
Wow! So powerful.. The depth in this podcast is unbelievable. The thing about masculinity is a difficult one. I often ask myself what it means to be a man and I often go back to this territorial behavior and being the protector etc, which clashes with letting go of your ego and letting things flow, which is obviously beneficial on a spiritual and mental level. I haven't found the right way to combine these two things. Does anyone have any insights?
What an awesome awesome interview. Thank you Steven you did it again. These podcast are so inspiring even my young teens listen to some of them and this one is a definite. Good job mate.
That was such a beautiful end to the episode and a perfect testament to what you are achieving with this podcast. Patrice and yourself are the exact type of people I want to surround myself with, both such inspiring and positive men. This episode, especially the ending, left me smiling and feeling happy, positive and generally excited about life. 👏
Amazing interview. Patrice has my big respect. From someone who’s been through similar situation of rape & many different abuses & couldn’t talk for nearly my whole life. Guys just talk to your family and those around you.
Recently subscribed, I'm currently getting through the podcasts, absolutely beautiful thing you have done Stephen in doing this, and hearing Patrice talk about is journey is emotional yet inspiring, can't get enough of the podcasts and thank you ❤️
Wow you 2 thank you so much. What beautiful examples of sacred masculinity you are. You may still have remnants, fibres of toxic masculinity inside you but you are leading from the heart and that’s where it all begins. The vulnerability, the depth and the self awareness you shared with us was beautiful and touched my heart deeply. What an amazing conversation, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Not a man u fan but this man is unbelievable.. not all super heros wear capes.... And he would have and will help a lot of people... Thank you for this podcast.... Just finished watching the Terry crews podcast... Well done 👊
I love and respect Patrice’s willingness to open up and share his truth, good and bad. As men we have a lot of social pressure to be “manly” and not cry, but all people have emotions including men. Love that this conversation around toxic masculinity has been opening up recently!
This was an amazing interview. I find that my favorite interviews on this channel are of those people who I’ve never heard of or know. I have no interest in soccer and no clue who Patrice was but this was one of the best 👏🏼👏🏼
Much love to you Patrice❤️ You are a strong and brave man! I am an even bigger fan of you after listening to this. This is such an important thing to talk about. Thank you Steven!💯
From a boy living some of life's worst experiences to a great man - what a journey and a fantastic example to the young of Senegal.. Sounds like his Mum was his rock too.
Massive fan of Patrice! What an emotional yet positive podcast. Both of your words were inspiring. I'll be watching this back to absorb it. Thank you Steven and Patrice! You've made my day ❤ #UTD
I don't watch a lot of TV but, I saw Freeze The Fear. When he said no to the challenge I've never felt so proud of a complete stranger. Such a moment for him. And an amazing lesson to everyone.
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart I am trying to make the bad decisions in my life right and this is a inspiration to motivate me even more. Silence has been a crime on my life and even for the people I love most .time to try and talk about the things I have been keeping closed in my sub conshush mind for many years.
