The energy that this family could create in a room was unreal. It was truly an achievement but they did it effortlessly. They are the benchmark for all talk radio and podcasts that came after them bar none. I miss them like nobodies business...

Vos gets so much shit! It's hilarious, but what makes it so funny is how good of a sport Vos is about it. He takes it like a man, and I can appreciate that!
he misses just like everyone else, but when he hits it's more often and more impactful. he complained about them talking about his body, but with vos everyone goes in on his speech impediment. everyone eats shit, and that's how they're friends!
I really do love Jim SO MUCH on the radio. But I have never been a fan of his stand up. His on stage persona is like a grossly-exaggerated caricature of what he's actually like on the radio.
completely agree and that is not a slam on Jimmy, I'd say him and Patrice were so much funnier on radio riffing off news stories or movies than they are on stage
Interesting....I feel he's one of the few who excels on the radio and comedy...unlike other's I WON'T mention. Oh, and Jim's opinions on things are something I really consider in my arguments. He's solid.
Yes, I agree. He's not a high pitched douche, but I watched his new one on netflix. "You guys ever heard about this?" You guys know about that? You guys this and that, he's constantly sweeping the audience for attention.
Hugh Munguss ant is funny, great impressions, I think Patrice is still greater in terms of universality. Too easy to idolize Patrice, his honesty and intelligence are otherworldly
I know I'm not the only who thinks Vos was setup under the ruse of Norton's Roast. Vos got killed! But then again Vos always get killed when comes in the studio. LOL!
I agree completely it's what I've thought for a while now but at least we heard them roast Patrice a little bit about what it could sound like in the middle of the roast. Either way I wish Patrice brought his tape in.

The thing about Jim is the more you watch the people he hung around the more you realize Jim is a joke thief. He doesn't steal material he steals attitude and language, like a skinwalker of comedy. It's really no wonder he had to wait so long before he was his own name in radio, the man had to wait until everyone around him died or got shafted before his low grade imitation became the only available thing.

"Norton is the shape of any container you pour him into.." 😅 True O&A fans know the specific episodes to listen to (there is alot thankfully) of this Infamous Roasting Rat-Pack & they have some of the best "off the cuff" slam sessions ever. Sad this style of comedy is dwelling/ watered down these days, guess its why these shows are so rare & worthy of repeatedly listening.
