When she was 12 years old, Patricia Janečková won the Czech-Slovak television competition Talentmania 2010, in front of no fewer than 10,000 participants.

Teacher: The children welcome you.
Children: Pati winner!
Teacher: We were convinced you would win.
What can we say about the singing, it’s just amazing.
Who wants to pop the champagne?
Patricia: Well I’m so joyful, everything worked out really great. I wanted to do well for the school, because I knew all the kids and teachers were wishing me the best, everyone crossed their fingers but I didn’t expect this at all.
Deputy Principal: We thought how to welcome her back, the children were spontaneous and at the same time, so that she could see what we thought of her, we prepared a bouquet of small gifts, we decorated the school.
Patricia: I wanted to come in today but my mom wasn’t too sure and said to rest and wait until tomorrow but I just said I had to go in to school today.
Patricia’s mom: This welcome is amazing and Patricia wanted to come in, I wasn’t sure but she did anyway. They were very challenging events, we’re not back long. But on the way in the car she said she wouldn’t miss this. The alarm clock was set and she’s going to school because she was very much looking forward to the children and the teachers reception and so il was decided. Therefore we came to school and it was very nice. All the children are definitely new judges, and interested in the music, very nice.
Patricia: I was really looking forward to it but it’s still surprising. I’m so grateful to everyone, simply everyone.
Schoolgirl: Patricia, she was so good. All of us for sure are so proud that she sings beautifully and she was just so good. Well, we’re delighted that she won.
Another schoolgirl: It was not a surprise for us that she won because we all knew that she sings amazingly and already from the beginning we knew that she has to win. We all have huge admiration for her.

Enseignant : Les enfants vous accueillent.
Enfants : Pati gagnante !
Enseignant : Nous étions convaincus que tu gagnerais.
Que dire du chant, c’est juste incroyable.
Qui veut faire sauter le champagne ?
Patricia : Eh bien, je suis tellement heureuse, tout s'est vraiment bien passé. Je voulais réussir pour l’école, parce que je savais que tous les enfants et les professeurs me souhaitaient le meilleur, tout le monde croisait les doigts mais je ne m’y attendais pas du tout.
Directrice adjointe : Nous avons réfléchi à la manière de lui souhaiter un bon retour, les enfants ont été spontanés et en même temps, pour qu'elle puisse voir ce que nous pensions d'elle, nous avons préparé un bouquet de petits cadeaux, nous avons décoré l'école.
Patricia : Je voulais venir aujourd'hui mais ma mère n'était pas trop sûre et m'a dit de me reposer et d'attendre demain mais j'ai simplement dit que je devais aller à l'école aujourd'hui.
Maman de Patricia : Cet accueil est incroyable et Patricia voulait rentrer, je n'étais pas sûre mais elle l'a quand même fait. C’étaient des épreuves très difficiles, nous ne sommes pas revenues depuis longtemps. Mais en chemin, dans la voiture, elle a dit qu’elle ne manquerait pas ça. Le réveil a été réglé et elle est allée à l’école parce qu’elle attendait avec impatience l’accueil des enfants et des professeurs et c'était donc décidé. C'est pour cela que nous sommes venues à l'école et c'était très sympa. Tous les enfants sont clairement de nouveaux juges et intéressés par la musique, très sympas.
Patricia : J'avais vraiment hâte d'y être, mais c’est quand même surprenant. Je suis tellement reconnaissante envers tout le monde, vraiment tout le monde.
Écolière : Patricia, elle était si bonne. Nous sommes tous si fiers qu’elle chante magnifiquement et qu’elle était tellement bonne. Eh bien, nous sommes ravis qu’elle ait gagné.
Autre écolière : Ce n'était pas une surprise pour nous qu'elle ait gagné parce que nous savions tous qu'elle chantait incroyablement bien et dès le début nous savions qu'elle devait gagner. Nous avons tous une immense admiration pour elle.
