34 yo High-school dropout here. I took a very similar approach.. 3 years ago I Started reading everything I could find on finance/investing/equities/crypto/ect ect. Talked to everyone I could who could teach me something. During this time I made 15 bucks an hour. After 3 years of this I'm now in the position to be a millionaire by 36. Everything pat just said is spot on 100%

Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does...

All this is true. Since devouring Valuetainment, i have gotten recognition in my role at work, taking on more responsibility and being an effective leader. Its a paradigm shift.

What he's saying is so true. As a female I was born poor in 3rd world country, I grew up right next to a train rail. I didn't even speak English. My parents can't afford college back home. Plus I'm a female, technically I'm 2nd class in my society. I decided to lock my self for 3 months reading all books just to pass university test that will give me full scholarship, I got into the best university in my home country. Long story short, I made it to the US, currently lived in the US (the best civilization in the world) I got a job in Big Tech making so much money I already have 7figure assets. All from reading and learning non stop, last year I read 50books, this year I already finished 2 books. Patrick is right, capitalism don't work for those who doesn't want to endure the pain like those who made it. In America, everyone can be rich if they want.

I was really moved by the "They will find you" video.. somehow that made more sense to me about how individual success fits in with collective success, the real currency is human spirit, intelligence, creativity...and relationship...

I'm in the education system and what Gerard just said was a shock to my system and a massive eye opener. As long as you show up on time and you are obedient. That is exactly what we push in schools. Show up on time and be obedient, because if you're not, there are consequences. Preparing young children to become adults that work 9-5 and become a slave to the system. So when the system then gives you orders you must obey (i.e. what is happening right now in Australia with the mandates. If you don't comply, they take away your job.) Again, like it was said here, if you have $100,000 debt, you're less likely to take risks so you comply against your will. Massive eye opener.

I have never seen any other guy with this energy. He is truly amazing.

I think he's got probably the best podcast out there now. He's incredible.

So true about the work. I've been in Taiwan 21 years. Run my own business. Read write and speak Chinese fluently and all self taught. I still work on my Chinese daily. I see foreigners that have been here fifteen years and can barely order a cup of coffee. Most people are lazy as hell.

I have so much respect for you and the work you do. This is such a powerful message. Case in point: years ago I told myself I was going to be the best at my job. I did everything perfect, made sure to never be late at work or on my assignments. I got licenses for my job and I was the best we had. Turn the clock forward - I now work for one of the largest oil companies in the world and I came into my position with very little skill in that role. But i worked hard and I was noticed. Side note - I saw the Malone interview with my family. We were all sitting on the edge of our seats. You are a National Treasure. Keep seeking the truth.

Glad my dad had me mixing cement, learning mechanics, and interpreting the Bible before high school. He was on my tail every day not letting me make excuses.

Every financial goal requires 💯patience dedication and consistent spirit knowing that investing is currently the most lucrative business in the world, both NFT, real estate and Crypto shares are really positively changing people's lives, I know the problems for technology believers will end soon.

Great personality. I would say outside of those 4 topics Patrick you should write a book or do a podcast on the personality traits that make a winner as well. I think I get it but there’s a lot of people even with the knowledge on those 4 topics that would benefit from your philosophy on having a good or the right personality. Your personality is right on, and that’s a complex topic. Anyways, that’s what separates you and in my mind. The right mix of knowledge personality and the ability to communicate them all effectively. And then you have the discipline to make it all happen. It’s simple, but not easy. I seriously wish I could have a 10 minutes conversation with Pat. My wife and I were at the Diplomatic less then a month ago and had no clue he was hosting an event there until I saw his logo on the front door. I literally walked everywhere for 3 days trying to bump into him and never saw him. I will say however I chilled with Noreaga (the rapper) but much rather have met someone who is an inspiration.

8 years in the marines, have a multi million dollar farm now. I had generals begging me to stay in. I was up for promotion to to E-6.....also a massive candidate for range officer. But I got out. Grandpa was old school farmer, he made boot camp easy for me. We butted heads when I got back and I had I chance to run all the rifle ranges in Hawaii as a civilian......would have started as a gs-13......I passed, great wages compared to what I was getting payed on the farm at the time. But I loved farming. That was my passion besides teaching marksmanship. 2 years later I leave the farm because gpa and I couldn't get along. I left for one year exactly. We sat back at the negation table and we came to terms. Little did I know he would leave me a multi million dollar farm. Why did he do it? Because I wouldn't stand for bullshit and I was passionate about what I did. He knew I will carry on being the best farmer I can be and make for DAMN sure my past 4 generations of hard work didn't go to waste. I say this as a step child to the family and I'm the ONE person taking it over. Blessed to be raising 4 kids on the farm doing well for myself and my family. Stay to yourself and trust your judgement :) I'm a proud member of the PBD podcast since before 2016 I believe. You won't do everything right, just focus on learning and growing.

He speaks the truth i do HVAC and Plumbing 35yo there is guys way older than me who are like insanely skilled but they just don't take the time to want to learn how to run a business so they will always be stuck making 50-75k working for someone else which is completely honorable but the returns on being the owner in a trade is ridiculous i probably work half the time i use to and make double what i was if really wanted to pound the pavement like my old boss id probably easily make 300k a year
