Love PJK? Let the world know! www.redbubble.com/people/AusQ... Paul Keating takes a dorothy dixer from Dick Adams about Industrial Relations. A young Tony Abbott makes a cameo.
@@clevelandwilliams5922 when the door is open for globalisation, it is a two way street. It's not a one way street to sell coal and iron ore to other countries but the market should expect cheaper products and services from manufacturing hubs like China and Taiwan. If these brain damaged or retarded Aussie politicians choose to lick the boots of big businesses under the camouflage of "creating economy" and do nothing about "technology innovation" to make better "Australian products", we just cannot compete with the global market. Squeezing Australian workers is not the solution to run the industries but investing in future technologies is the way to go. We wish we have better brains in Australian politics as compared to these morons.
When Howards IR reform AWA's hit telstra all it did was destroy the network . The techs were out to make money as the minimum base level was set very low and customers service , proper repairs and quality were in the way . the NBNco had a sunset later on . Then when the contract expired the Techs couldnt return back to their original EBA Levels without a fight . Most of them had work cover injuries as their bodies gave up in the fast paced realm . If they stayed on for long enough the contracted price items claimed were also reduced so monetary returns became harder and harder
That may be correct, but many tech's sold their soul and signed on for AWA's. There was no requirement for them to do so, they did it for a bit of guaranteed $$$$. They reaped what they sowed.
