That crowd came to hear Here Comes The Sun, I Want To Hold Your Hand, and every other mainstream Beatles song, most likely. I'd love to hear him and Wings sing this live one time ❤
Crowd may be too young to know it. It's from my own childhood, and I had it memorized just from the radio. The shifts moved me at age 8 or so. Now, I'll be 62 December, 2022.
@@MrBornbadd I've watched a lot of McCartney videos. This response is definitely muted. I guess I don't blame them. if you don't listen to the Beatles Channel on Sirius/XM, you probably haven't ever heard this song, unless you're older than 60. I didn't know it until I started listening to that channel.
I bought this cassette to play on my voice quality mono tape recorder, that I rigged to play into a heathkit speaker. This was 1972.. I was 17 with no money. I loved, and still do the Beatles and Sir Paul
It's so strange that he's such a great songwriter that this incredibly great song is one of his lesser known ones. Just a measure of how unreal he and the Beatles were.
This was Linda and Paul’s 🎵 A masterpiece 🎵🎶 when Linda sings the harmony, it sounds like it’s about her. RIP Linda, 🙏🏽you were a master in your own right 💗
I'm going to wake up some morning...make my 1st cup of coffee....get online...and read that Paul passed away overnight. And it is going to be one of the saddest darkest days of my entire life. The man is timeless.
I don't know how to break this to you, but the lad's been gone for years now--if that helps cushion the blow in some way. You'll notice how lively and novel this music was in contrast to that of the wistful, love lorn, (sadly deceased), earlier doppelganger.
Happy 81st birthday to Sir Paul McCartney 6. 18 What a blessing on this date in 2023, it is also Father's Day I have always looked at this song as a lesson to women about time. If we do not plan, another day turns into another day until we run out of them. Thank you for the schooling, Have a blessed day
Dammit, I REALLY miss those days when a cameraman understood the importance of focusing on the band, as opposed to quick cuts, floating all over the place, and cutting away at key moments. LOVE this song, hate the ADHD camera.
Sir Paul McCartney really loves music, that his blood, his life, music is everything to him, he loves to perform, it cannot be denied that through music, he met his true love and his soulmate, Linda (RIP)
Paul is a very talented composer and artist but he's NOT a great singer, sorry. For example, listen to the original cut of this song. In the second line he takes a breath between "bedroom" and "chair" ie in mid sentence. That's NOT what a good singer would do - it's terrible!
Every day she takes a morning bath she wets her hair, Wraps a towel around her as she's heading for the bedroom chair It's just another day 그저 또다른 하루일 뿐이죠 Slipping into stockings, stepping into shoes Dipping in the pocket of her raincoat It's just another day At the office where the papers grow she takes a break Drinks another coffee and she finds it hard to stay awake 커피 또 한잔을 마시지만 그녀는 깨어있기가 힘들다는 걸 깨달아요 So sad, so sad, 참 슬프죠, 참 슬프죠 Sometimes she feels so sad Alone in her apartment she'd dwell Till the man of her dreams comes to break the spell Ah, stay, don't stand her up And he comes and he stays 그리고 그는 와서 머무르죠 but he leaves the next day, so sad 그러나 그는 다음날 떠나요, 참 슬프죠 As she posts another letter to the sound of five, People gather 'round her and she finds it hard to stay alive. It's just another day 그저 또다른 하루일 뿐이죠
Paul seemed to be getting some flack from the crowd- I'd just be THRILLED. I saw The Beatles- couldn't see or hear a thing then years , John and Yoko, once or twice at Rock Fests- this song - I wonder how much Linda put in for it captures how a young woman feels, exactly to my mind- a continuation of She's Leaving Home- long stretch in their or maybe not- we thought we were Forever Young and we were and now those years- well Paul looks great but life outside of music keeps it's own time- Namaste from More Enthusiastic Canada
Love this song. Underrated. Recommend reading Sir Paul's book, 'The Lyrics.' This exceptional book not only delves into the lyrics of McCartney's songs, but includes stories of his life that gives the reader a glimpse into the real Paul.
This is a major Paul song as there is a persistent and very likeable and honourable Paul trait to express sympathy for the underdog. The lyrics are great and married to a classic Paul melody. Vastly underrated when it came out.
Love Paul. Love the Beatles. I know we aren’t here to watch Paul’s band, but I think they deserved more love from the TV camera. They supported him not only with their instruments, but also quite a bit on the vocals. They helped this classic tune, sung by a classic (but aged) performer, come to life.
#Yuge! I was blessed to grow up with #PaulMcCartney's music and I suppose it spoiled me. He is one of the few musicians besides #AndreasVollenweider, #RCarlosNakai, #Dirtwire, and #Dervish, that I can listen to non-stop. In fact, I can listen to him #HereThereAndEverywhere. #RamOn, #SirPaul. #Macca! #JamesPaulMcCartney
it's painful to see so many road audiences of Paul around USA while when he come to Brazil it's impossible to see him for lass than 100 U$ till 400 U$ and the stadiums get fulled with more than 60.000 people! And he used to say "I love Brazil". Well, I love him. We love him... but when I watch so many road concerts, so close to the crownd... in so simple way...I think "That's not right".
One of his most beautiful songs, terrible version. This song should NEVER be played live in venues more than 1k ppl, especially when you want them to vibe to it. It's the quintessential played-near-the-fireplace winter song
