In this skit Billy learns how the apostle Paul was changed from being a persecutor of the Early Church to becoming a passionate believer in Jesus and the writer of almost half of the Books of the New Testament. The story of Paul of Tarsus is an example of the transformative power of Jesus to dramatically change someone. When we put our faith in Jesus, He changes us from the inside out. First changing how we think and feel, and this begins to make a change for the better in our outward behavior. The apostle Paul is proof that no one is too much of a lost cause that they cannot be changed by God.
Memory Verse:
As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” (Acts 9:3-4 NKJV)
