I purchased the cdrom2 and supergrafx second hand in 1998 in Switzerland for about 200$ and had Makaimura, Dracula X Chi No Rondo and a few other games. I always wanted to see if Capcom came out with arcade hits such as Final Fight and Dungeons and dragons on it. The Sega Saturn version was arcade perfect but I am pretty sure that Final Fight could have been developed on the Supergrafx
I am not aware of Art of Fighting released for the Mega/Sega CD... only the MD/Genesis. Or do you mean in general? Due to more RAM? Colors? Spec-wise, Sega CD has the advantage of an 11 Mhz 680000 CPU, hardware scaling and rotation (sprite and background) and PCM audio channels. The biggest problem with the Sega CD was that it went under-utilized and misused for the stupid FMV games. Games like Soul Star show us what should've been though.
