The Codgers' new nickname: Hazel's Uncles After 37 years of living and working in the Far East, it warms my heart to hear her refer to you in that way. Indeed, that may be your finest accomplishment of this entire trek.
Wow that was sketchy, gave me tingles watching.. so beautiful.. the tunnel was cool. The concert was a fabulous day capper . Thanks for the update happy trails
I completed the PCT (2022 to Donner, 2023 to Canada) two weeks ago. I still cannot go down stairs as well as No Filter. I wish I had knees like you young pups!! I haven't been watching Huck (I have watched all this Ice Age Trail videos, as that is up for next year), but I will check out his video of y'all.
You three were really lucky to be able to walk across Oregon with no lost miles. That's been a rarity in recent years. I hope Washington treats you as well!
Nice to hear Hazel comments. so the Tunnel trail leads to the Bridge from down stream, PCT’s approach is from up stream I think . Your sister looks like lots of fun. welcome to Washington.
Mountain Goat says "No uncle Joe, not that way" but he winds up doing a great job going under, not over the blow down!😂 Very nice to meet Nancy and the others, what a special treat. And congrats on finishing Oregon! Two states down, one to go!
A well deserved rest! It’s nice to meet Nancy and to be able to put a face to the often referred to creator of the great music we enjoy on your videos. If Nancy has recordings available for purchase, I’d sure like to know where I can access them Thank you for sharing your trail adventures. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
What a gorgeous day you were treated to with all those waterfalls and a lovely evening in hood river. Lots of talented musicians around Portland. When I was growing up there were always free or cheap concerts to attend. Lots of great musicians played in restaurants and lounges. I got to hear Kenny G play with jeff Lorber at delevans. Glad you are all getting to zero in such a great place with such beloved people. Thanks for posting.
Hey, it was definitely a pleasant surprise running into you guys! 500 miles to go, you got this! BTW, thanks to you guys and Skeletor for the gear advice.
I've never seen the Eagle Creek trail into Cascade Locks before, so Thank You for taking me along....as well as for an interesting view of entering into Cascade Locks from a perspective I've never before seen. Don't get that view of The Bridge of the Gods from a windshield...
So great to see the Eagle Creek trail; one of my favorite hikes, but haven't been on it since the devastating fire in 2017. Wow, the concert must have been a culture shock after 120 days on trail--fun times!
You have really captured the beauty of the PCT. Big milestone.... so now it's the beautiful state of Washington to conquer. Admire how you three have taken on the challenges one faces everyday.
Trust me that trail is excellent compared to the AT this year up north JOE ….. Tunnel was cool …….Gorgeous waterfall …..Elvis is turning over in his grave 🤣 BUT You got to Love the outdoor concert ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO Happy Trails
That's a pretty trail down Eagle Creek. I first hiked it in the 1960s and last hiked it with Marmalade in 2022. Those cables are helpful to many people, we lose a few folks each year who didnt use the cables, sometimes it's a rescue and other times it's a recovery.
Ohhhh what I’d give to have some clouds and mist !! Today’s high 112. Great choice on the alt route!!! Enjoy your time away from the trail!! Why is the Oregon side (cascade locks) developed but the Washington side isn’t? Just wondering.
Loved this! I haven't been to Oregon for many years but do remember how beautiful it is. Someday I will hike to and behind that waterfall :) I had a bit of an idea what Joe's sister would look like and alas, I was right! LOL So nice to meet Nancy and her husband. Those smaller concerts/shows are the best :)
How cool was that trail behind the waterfall? I’ve been following PCT hikers for a few yrs now & have never seen this until today. I now have seen it twice in one day. Kevin & Leah had it in their video earlier too. Thanks for sharing!
What a spectacular hike by the waterfall and tunnel! Very steep drop-off with cable to hold onto. So nice that you could enjoy the concert in the park with Joe's sister, husband and friend. Loved Hazel's cotton candy! The pizza looked good too! Great video, thanks to all.Happy Trails!
