No shit Dave , did you see we already had 50 brush fires all but one on the West side. Let alone the snowpack is way down 70% up north and maybe 90% in the south . The way it's going looks like I can make Packwood Lake to Elk Pass on the PCT mid April.
I don’t usually use them since I’ve tried them in the past and they haven’t worked too well but I just switched my socks to a lightweight injinji runner so hopefully that helps
Besides Darwin and This girls hikes. You are the only one that I've seen do the 20 miles. Most do 10 or 15. I'm a day/multi day hiker trash. My wife and I are going to do the terminus to Lake Morena. We hike the highest mountains in SoCal. We may choose to do Lake Morena to Hauser creek and back. We'll see.
@@markplaton84 yes we've done 25 but I just commented on that. We went from Lake Morena down to Hauser creek and back. Met several thru hikers. 3 did the 20. 4 did it in 2 and 3 days. Thank you.
Great start but down let the towns fool you , it only wants your money and time (vortex). Resupply , eat and hike out , it's still early plenty of days left.
