The location of the PCV Valve on a 2007 Dodge Dakota SLT, V6 3.7L engine. Changed out the vacuum hose as well. Parts bought on RockAuto. It took around 45 minutes to complete the work.
‘05 Dakota drivers--the PCV valve is located below the oil fill on the left. It’s difficult to access. Remove the entire air intake housing to get a little more room. Even though these models are in the same generation, the PCV is in a different place.
I have the same truck with code P0456, very small evap leak. I cannot for the life of me find the evap cannister or leak detection pump. I looked underneath the vehicle (and all over) and the only thing I found was something that is on top of the gas tank, and inaccessible without removing the gas tank. Could the evap cannister and leak pump be somewhere else? If so, where? I'm thinking one of the hoses going to these parts may be the cause of the leak. All other hoses are in mint condition. Thank you!
Sean Nugent I honestly can't remember. I think the truck was throwing the code for the PCV valve, that's how I knew to replace it. I guess in future videos I should say what the symptoms were that caused me to replace that part!
