Wow, yall must be rich cause the schools i go to tell you to grab a ball and get ready. Dodgeball is on 3 days of the week so we get to bruise each other without consequence
I don’t even think he’s ever been to American schools or the government has hired him to talk good about American schools because none of these are true about America idk about British tho
As an American, I can relate. But the teacher I have currently say stuff like, “We need you to be safe,” yet they don’t give a living crap about us and hate us
Our P.E. teachers didn’t give a crap about us. They would just send us out to do whatever and if we got hurt they’d be like just wash it off you’ll be fine
In south america, The teacher throws you a football and lets you play for the rest of the class. He doesn't care if you're hurt or even if you aren't from the class. one day he let a homeless man in to play football, It was a epic day.
@@Reed_21 I love in the USA, I say yea the people in the north do that stupid stuff but in southern areas of the USA you can break your leg and it’s fine
In America the coach wouldn’t get this man a drink water and told him to find it himself so he ended up running all over the place looking for water and ended up dead in someone’s yard I think 😐
My brother used to play rugby and I went to watch one of his matches and he left his gum shield at home and I can tell everyone who reads this comment that his coach exploded, yelled at him then told him to get on the pitch with a pat on the back and me being a nice sibling recorded the whole thing and plan on showing the video at his big party coming up. (That day he got a split lip amd lost a tooth. He was not alright)
@@Urmum707 I mean idk what tf y’all consider a shield in England but it sure as hell is weird, my coaches in America chew your ass up if they saw you wearing equipment, i mean only a few kids broke their ribs so it’s safe idk why people take it so serious with all this so called “ protection “
This is so true 😂 when I forget my safety kit for rugby or/and don't have trainers it's always a: "along as you have your P.E. kit you'll be fine." Pretty sure a kid broke his foot bc of it
At my old school we just HAD to wear hats if we wanna go to the school playground (prep to year 2) or just walk around (year 3 to 12) 😅 Cuz it is a school where there are no hallways just classrooms e.g but the rest was outside 💀
American teachers are familiar with american schools and have to protect the students with a lot of stuff so they dont get shot by the 5 shooters down the hallway
In Norway it's either "I know your legs feel like they're on fire and you've been doing this all day but I don't care so RUN ANOTHER LAP" or it's like a bunch of theater kids playing basketball with the equivalent of a beach ball
Ah yes, grade 1 - grade 4 for me was running around and dogeball but we end up with 4 girls in the nurse and not only P.E, 10 problems in 2 weeks. Also once, the other class I saw 2 kids on the wheelchair-
As a British boy I definitely agree I left my shin guards and mouth guard at home and he just said “eh no need for them anyway as long as your careful” and just left me😂
Normal American schools: wearing protection Meanwhile the schools I went to: Wearing no protection (Well after they get injured and sit on the bleachers)
There’s a reason we do all that protective stuff here in America. When you see how rough the kids play, you’ll wish that you never would of step foot in that yard. Trust me, it’s COMPETITIVE. Especially in Elementary School. My brother goes to elementary school, I’m sad they don’t play dodgeball anymore because of an “incident” including a kid getting hospitalized. I went to his school when i was young, dodgeball was real fun. But tbh, we never really wore “protective wear”, except for when doing science experiments and stuff.
american schools: take this hard hat, this bulletproof vest, 3 elbowcaps, 3 kneecaps, 8 helmets, and this very thick armor british schools: heres your thin leggings, if you get hurt, walk it off
This is exactly what my pe teach told me in yr 7 he said we should have all bought our gum shields from the store, i didn’t all he said was “meh, you’ll live”
In Australia my pe teacher is so nice I have severe asthma so when I take a breaks he’s like sit for 5-10 and get back out there otherwise he’s like broken arm “nah, your good you’ll survive” sprained ankle “ run a few more laps then your done you will be fine” he’s so nice sometimes others he couldn’t care less 😂😂
nah me living in britain never even knew stuff like this existed .when you live in britain you get hurt EVERY SINGLE DAY wither its mentally emotionly phiscally pain is your bestfriend
As an American, I can say that the boys at my school ALWAYS play football. And EVERY TIME someone gets hurt, they even banned football until January because too many people were getting hurt.
