I think they are both made with actual WRC in mind. Isn't everything we buy a replica of something. Additionally, I don't own any Fanatec gear anymore and this is a much cheaper option. If you see it as a copy cool, but with how long it takes to come up with plans, manufacturing, designs, it's more likely they were both inspired by the real thing but hey I'm good either way.
