So, I'm back from about 10 days of being 'away' and am sitting at the breakfast table watching this video. Not fair, Chef Jack, not fair, as I gaze down at my boring cereal when what I really want is this. I'll just have to make one, won't I? It looks so easy and delicious... peanut butter and chocolate in the same dessert!!! Thanks for the vid, Chef Jack.
Thanks for the tips now I can eliminate all the mess I make when getting the no bake cheesecake out of the mould and while cutting nice slices. This one looks remarkably mouthwatering
I have always preferred a no bake cheesecake to a baked cheesecake (I find the baked ones too dry and cloying.) And peanut butter is my favourite flavour! Thank you so much for this! Stay safe and keep well! TFS. 👍💖
Chocolate and peanut butter are always a big hit in my family. This looks so awesome. But I would have to hide the Oreos or...well, you know, no oreo crust!! 😂👍
Hey Captain Jack. As my other half says . . OMG MY HIPS . This is awesome. We actually just made it and is super delicious. Thank you. You are s true star and you deserve an award for excellence. Thank you and God bless. 👍🙏💥💥💥💥💥
Another amazing recipe, I’ll be trying this at the weekend! Just a quick question (apologies if it’s obvious to some), why when making the base is unsalted butter used then salt added? Possibly little bites of rock salt is desired? Thanks
Thank you! Great question! I always use unsalted butter due to the fact that you can control the seasoning exactly to your taste. When it comes to salted butter it’s easy to over-season and not be aware of how much salt you are actually adding. It’s also, for like you said to get those little bursts of saltiness in the base which is incredible.
I’m working on a website completely on my own which will have all printable options as well as making videos which takes a very long time and working 6 days a week at a cafe. I’m trying my hardest to get it done. It is coming though and I apologise for the delay.
Hey Iain, that’s great to hear you’re enjoying the videos. Yes you can definitely change the dark to milk chocolate. The only difference there will be is how creamy it is but that’s still amazing 👌
Hi Jack. I’ve made the base and cheesecake this eve and will finish it off tomorrow. Do I need to wait for the ganache to cool before I pour it on the cheesecake?
I use iMovie still which is the basics of all basics, It’s very easy to use. I’m soon to upgrade to Final Cut Pro which is a professional editing software with so many more features. If you don’t have apple products then I’d go down the adobe premier pro path but that software is extremely overwhelming if you have no experience in editing.
