FYI: do not read the questions aloud, you will be dismissed without warning... when your dismissed, it looks like a technical error, the program becomes unresponsive. I gave the 800 # a call and waited 23 mins for a representative to answer and that's when I found out my test was forfeited for reading aloud. To me, this is the easiest way to create profits, majority of people read aloud or talk there way through a situation when reading. This is ludicrous and I will no longer use your exam services

NOTE: I have had a few viewers advise they have been able to have a bottle of water with them while they take the exam, seems I may be wrong on this point. Thanks everyone for the feedback on that!

Hi Lisa I am kind of new here and trying to understand the process, I am trying to pass my real estate license for Florida while I am living in Indiana. I just discovered the pearsonvue possibility which will be awesome so I don’t have to fly to go to Florida to pass the exam. So by using this test online will it prevent me to have to go to Florida ? Or is it just a test that I have to take before passing the actual test ?

Hi! can I use an iMAC to take my exam? I mean, people have told me that proctors ask to show the surroundings, moving your webcam 360º, but I couldn't do that with a 27 inches iMac. So what happens there? thanks to any reply.

Cool you are almost convince to not try and then not lose my money ;-) If you can't set the room properly the exam will be charged ? What about the language, if the examen is in french, the viewer will be french speaker too ? no glass of water seriously ? Is it the same process for all certifications like UML or Prince2 ?

Great video - I done the full system check prior to the exam and was good to go and could see myself in the webcam, however the proctor said they could not see me? Any ideas, I allowed the OnVue application access to both my microphone and camera and passed the system test, however the proctor could not see my camera as being enabled?

I had a terrible experience taking the MB800 exam online last Sunday. I had to uninstall Teams and Dropbox, take pictures of my room, unplug my extended monitor, and scan my ID. I also had to wait 20 minutes for someone to start my exam. I wish I had watched a video about the exam before taking it. The instructions were unclear, and I had to figure out many things on my own. I also think the wait time to start the exam was too long. There is no phone number and chat can assist you to contact them.

Thank you for this information. I'm currently trying to decide if it's even worth it to take this exam if I'll have to rearrange my entire home office setup! The sheets are a very good idea which I hadn't thought of as an option. My desk is an L shape and I wonder if they would allow me to just cover a portion of my desk so I don't have to put everything in/on it somewhere else. But that additional monitors are not allowed to even be plugged in is just.... *sigh* If the software locks down what you do, why does it matter how many monitors are connected? When I see all these rules, especially that you can't even access your own reference material that you absolutely can use at any job where you would use the systems this cert is for, I just can't help but remember my elementary school teacher saying "you need to know how to do this math in your head because you won't always have a calculator in your pocket." How quickly that sentence became out of date! Anyway. Enough complaining on a very helpful video. Thank you!

Here are some tips as experienced in last day when appearing MB800 exam online: wish watched this video before. Make sure you have all of the required software uninstalled (Teams, dropbox etc.) and your ID scanned before your exam starts. Give your family members a heads-up that you will be taking an exam and that they should not come into your room during the exam. Be patient and wait for someone to start your exam. If you don't hear keep waiting, I was waiting almost 25mins...with showing recording screen and my camera was on.

Does the proctor ask you to open drawers I mean do I have to clean the drawers as well ?

They stopped me twice and threatened to stop the exam because of two things. 1). The chair I had was uncomfortable so I was moving too much in the chair. 2) Comical but annoying - I was reading the questions to myself and my lips were moving although I wasn't talking. Overall it made it very stressful and distracting to take my test. Go to a testing center if you can! If not, do what Lisa says here and it will help a lot.
