Sorry you feel that way Ken. Running a YT channel my intentions and motives are sometimes misinterpreted. But that's ok. Comes with the territory. Not everybody needs all the power that my big Bluetti delivers that I showed in Feb., so I thought I'd give folks another-cheaper option with less power-for emergency power and I really thought this E1000 fit the bill and especially for this price. It wasn't a perfect product by no means as I explained, but nothing in this category even comes close for the money. So no, not just trying to sell a product 😎

Sorry…a decent presentation, however it still comes across as a sales presentation…trust you are sending it back, or buying it at minimum. Very disappointing you have taken a path that many others couldn’t resist…good luck.
@@donnbriske thx for the good luck charm... BUT....I haven't *"taken a path that many others couldn’t resist"*. I cant thank you enough for this information. I'm close to 65 and moving into my 31ft pull along 2006 Coachman full time. I've been trying to decide which generator would be the best. I live on less that 860.00 a month. So this is doable for me. Bless you!
The wife and I bought the Pecron1000 back in September of 2022 and we love it. We have used it extensively in camping and for emergency situations, power outages in my area. It was worth the money spent.
We're getting setup this year as new RVers. Your videos have educated us IMMENSELY Martin. As time goes on and we've amassed our "base" hardware from your Amazon store, we'll have to get one of these, as well as the 200watt panel, gor another EMERGENCY situations. God Bless You & Joanie!
Glad to see that you did this. I totally get and understand that people that create content to help others should absolutely benefit from the time they spend and the service they perform. This after all why I watch RU-vid. entertaining and extremely informative. As RVers, and Im new to it, I started with Goal Zero packs and have now learned the there are much better products out there from RU-vidrs like yourself. Multiple options are totally necessary and when I see RU-vidrs setup up systems that cost $10-20,000 well that isnt something Im either interested nor capable of doing. Many are getting these things for free or greatly discounted for their somewhat sided view, doesn't change the fact that I am not spending that kind of money, but some will. Your video shows multiple options and those are relatively affordable. Much better options than rewiring entire RVs. tks for the info. Keep up the good work, momma always said if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all.. lol
Thank you Martin! for your time on exsplaining the E 1000 it takes a lot of time to check all of those appliances my freind that is handy knowing !! i maybe looking into it . This i think will be a great addition to our rv i to have a gen .
wonderful review Martin - thank you for sharing your knowledge and products you use / recommend. I think you are perfectly balanced in your approach - thank you for all you do!!!!
Another great video, thorough and informative . thanks for all your effort . great job. I know making these vids are very time consuming, especially the editing that goes into the final product. I do enjoy and appreciate what you do. Thanks again, Joe
Martin ,as always, your thoughts and opinions are always highly appreciated and regarded Hope you guys are doing well and in the best of health Have a safe holiday sir Safe travels
This was great! I love the practical use breakdown you did. My wife and I are new to this and new to boondocking so I need all this information! Great breakdown!
Enjoyed the video. I know how thorough you are...so if you say it's a great buy for the money...that's good enough for me. Not being in Maine for the summer...I hope you and Joanie are staying cool. You two take care.
Hi Marie.....long time no see you here. But ya, for the money it just can't be beat if you need a little back up power. So glad to see you chime in. Hope all is well with you 💕
Good info about the Pecron power station. I really love the solar panels and would like to see how I could take them directly into my existing solar charger/inverter set up on the motorhome. In our situation the power station would be great for power outages at the house!
Great video ! Suggestion for your watchers, remember that lithium batteries don’t like the cold . Check into battery warming solutions also , just a thought when it’s 102 f today . Thanks for sharing your thoughts/ experiences with us sir .
Thank you so much for your well detailed videos. Awesome. What do you think about the surge protector Hughes autoformer. I'm in need of one. Thank you.
I personally don't like the Hughes Transformer and some parks won't let you use them. I have a hard wired EMS and a portable surge protector at the pedestal for double protection. An EMS is the only way to go in my book. If your interested you can see the ones I recommend in my Amazon Store in the "Everything Electrical" category: www.amazon.com/shop/rvstreet
Seems to be a great product. Why doesn't the 200 watt panel have the USB box in the storage compartment on back? Is it available to purchase and use on the 200 panel? Good to see you again. I'm in Confluence, Pennsylvania at Outflow "ACOE" heading to Keyser, W.V " Robert W Craig " in the morning for 2 weeks then Berlin Center ,Ohio at Mill Creek " ACOE " for 2 more. Hope you all are having a great time. Always your Buds, Steve Robinson. Thanks 😊
@@RVstreet Thoughts and prayers are with you Joan. Sorry to hear about Martin. He was a good inspiration for a lot of us. I learned a lot from him. God bless
This E1000 is a small, compact unit that has 1000wh and would be perfect for anyone that: 1) doesn't have a lot of room to store a bigger, heavier, more powerful unit 2) doesn't have a lot of extra money to spend on a bigger unit 3) maybe have grand kids visit and you put up a tent for them, you could the E1000 out in their tent and they would have their own power But to answer your question, it depends on how many watts different appliances use. Most residential fridges would run on it because todays fridges are so energy efficient and draw somewhere around 450-500watts. And they also have a compressor, so the compressor comes on and then off. But just remember, you have 1000wh to start with and with about 93% efficiency in this unit, you actually have about 930watts of usable power. And that's WITHOUT bringing in more power from solar. So for example-without any solar-if you have a device that's pulling 800watts CONSTANTLY, you'll be able to run that device for about an hour and 15 minutes or so. 400watts about 2.5hrs. and so on. My absorption fridge pulls about 315watts and with my big Bluetti AC200P that has 2000wh, I can run the fridge for about 5.0-5.5hrs. Add solar to any of these senario's and you can run a lot longer. The main thing to remember when buying any passive power station like these, is that they really are for emergency power or boon docking power where there is NO grid power anywhere to plug into. And in those cases you're always conserving power as much as you can anyways. If you want them to power a lot of things or high wattage items for a longer duration of time you just have to get a bigger unit and have plenty of solar to continue pouring power into the unit while you're using it. For newer, larger RV's that have residential refrigerators and induction cooktops, and other bling electrical items, IMO they should be looking for a larger unit. And, any RVer should have some sort of emergency passive back up solution, because without it, you won't be able to run anything when there isn't any power. Hope this helps
Great Vid, (btw -I liked n Subed to it) They now have the Pecron Pro 1000w. Hopefully it too, is a "Passthrough", charging device ? I wonder, if that model chgd the DC in connector, from Solar panels any (min in Amps / Volts). Have you or anyone else had a chance, to review or use one ?
Thank you for such a comprehensive review, please share with me your experience with the pecron solar panels, would you use 1-200w panel or 2 for this unit for efficiency . Thank you
Just re:watched your review - Im clear only need 1-200w, but what was your experience in their performance - how long did it take to charge the power station. Would a person be able to use 2-200w panels for this power station? Or not recommended? I thank you for your patience and help. Blessings
Ecoflow charges quickly when plugged into a generator or other power outlet. Fast charging is critical for these things. The low cost boxes usually charge very slowly, so you are stuck running a generator four hours or more to get them recharged. You get what you pay for.
Neither. That fan helps circulate the cold air inside. It's just one of many upgrades I've made to our fridge. I plan on doing a video on all these upgrades this winter.
Hi Sue, The E1000 and the 200watt solar panels is in the "Everything Electrical" category in my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/rvstreet The Pecron 200watt solar panel is a nice, well built panel and one of these should be just fine for a E1000. I like the 200watt panel better because it's easier to hook up with the MC4 connector -∏a universal connector I might add-and takes up less room to store in the RV. As far as charge time with solar, it really depends on how low you have discharged the E1000 and what kind of sun you have that particular day. But, I mean for the money, you just can't beat this price for a unit of this size. Oh...and thank you so much for your questions and wanting to support us thru my Amazon Store. It means a lot. Hope this helps 👍 🙏
Hi Martin. Did not know where to ask this question. I searched your channel but ... I am a newbie (as you will see by my question, sorry) I am trying to learn about charging my batteries. I have 4 lead-acid deep cycle batteries in my 2015 Bounder. Will the Schumacher SC1280 you have in your amazon shop work for me or do you have another recommendation ? Thank you.
That unit in my store is a portable unit that needs 120V to plug into, to charge batteries in an emergency. So yes it will work on your batt's. But I have to ask why aren't your batteries being charged in the first place from shore power, running the jenny or by the alternator while underway?
@@RVstreet I "Did" not have a house outlet to plug into, that has changed i have one now so i just need an adapter from RV to house. Yes the generator charges the batteries BUT .. I had just bought this RV and checked the batteries, they where ALL low to the point they took a gallon of distilled water between all. I hope they are OK. I`ll take a look to see if you have the adapter in you A Store. Thanks for getting back with me.
Do you know if the panels have an ETFE coating or PET. At $425 it should be ETFE but don't see anywhere in specs where they mention that. ETFE can handle long term exposure to the sun much better.
@@RVstreet FYI, According to Pecron it's ETFE which has much longer longevity and is the better coating. I just received mine. They don't include that info in the specs but they should.
My E1000 display always shows 100% full, even when drained. Charges from wall at 325 watts (seems high). Can't get any support to respond.. Any thoughts? Any way to reset the display?
I have a question for everyone...I bought a 2005 chateau sport and it has no solar anything..plain stock....I have the pigtails and everything..can I do everything in this video...just plugging shore power into the solar battery?
I've heard about it but barely. Not sure what type of roof you have but if it's fiberglass, this is what I recommend: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H00oNtbvtrk.html
@@RVstreet Thanks for reply, I have watched that roof video of yours a few times , just need to get ambitious enough to tackle it. Live in Vegas and too hot to do anything now.. One reason I am such a fan of yours is I have a Winnie 2018 Sunstar LX w/ fiberglass roof almost identical to yours. You are a great teacher. Joe
The 1 year warranty does not inspire confidence. Maybe that's why they're so cheap. Most established name brands have a 2 year warranty. Food for thought.
Do NOT purchase. Horrible customer service that won't respond to let you know where to send a defective unit. Website site contact for address...then they ghost you. Going on 5 days without a response. How long should I wait?
Asha, I emailed my contact @ Pecron about you and here was his reply: Regarding your fan's question that no one is handling the response should not occur, usually our emails and online messages are answered within 24 hours. It is possible that his email from us is in spam, you can ask him to send us a message @ our online store or email us at support@pecron.com thanks!
@@RVstreet I JUST (at 3 am) got an email from a new support member who has ALREADY responded twice and has provided VERY HELPFUL information. I will update again.
bought two of pecron E 1000 they did not ProForm as advertised .customer service did nothing for me , I do not trust this product and the company does not back up its products.
