Personally I think Jackie’s new image is lovely. Chic, modern, and fitting for the type of songs that will be on her new album. Contemporary musical theater I think I heard? Should be neat to listen to. I plan on purchasing a copy. Xx - Anastasia Lee
I'm not so sure about that new image. She doesn't need to be that sexy. Her voice and her music are her focal point, not her body. She should be careful going this route. People in the industry will try to get her to show more and more skin until she's posing nude. No reason for her to show this much skin.
Steve Gallo Disagree largely though not entirely. Like it or not, Jackie has to show that she is moving beyond being purely an ingenue and that means displaying a LITTLE sexuality without being garish or vulgar. I don’t think her image is going to suffer by showing a bare shoulder for gosh sakes. YOU might like her to remain that adorable 10 year old forever, but maintaining that is not only futile but at some point seems immature. The “grandparent” fans are unlikely to dissipate but she has to reach for some younger but maturing fans now - or risk irrelevance.
@@DocDLH I want her to grow up, and she needs to grow up. My problem with her showing some skin is the industry will try to get her to show more and more until she's posing nude. She doesn't need to do that. What she's showing here could be the start of the industry trying to push her to bare more and more skin. THAT is what worries me.
Jackie continues to grow and explore. It's what young women do-finding their way as they mature. Her family has given her a firm foundation to build on. She is grounded and shows appreciation for the success she has had and will have in future. I happily await her upcoming album.

As a parent of daughters I fully understand the “seduction” of nostalgia - that your “little adorable angelic innocent child” never grows up - but they do and god darn it, to become grandparents they even have to have sex!! It’s fully appropriate and expected- that Jackie, who is amazingly beautiful, begins to embrace her maturing sexuality. Those who can’t understand or accept the changes ought best to do a reality check on their own comfort zones with sexuality. Jackie is hardly flaunting sexual power but as she has the potential to possess it in abundance, it’s completely unrealistic and projective to not expect her to explore it.
I am more than THRILLED! I just purchased tickets to her show to be held in MY hometown! The Cabot Theatre in Beverly Massachusetts is one that I went to many times growing up. It was the home of Le Grand David and His Spectacular Magic Company, the longest consecutively running stage magic show in the world. She will love it there!

In Europe we are not used to measure the temperature in Fahrenheit and I was thinking it was a bit cold. So I did a little conversion to Celsius. That is below freezing point! Respect! Keeping good posture like that in cold weather is really hard to do. And I know as a photographer it is hard for a model in these conditions to keep motivated and look like it is nice and warm. Can’t wait to see the final results and enjoy the new album!

At the end of the video though, I just thought, "poor Jackie...you look you like you are freaking freezing!" :( Great job though...you looked awesome up there doing that, despite the cold weather. @@larryk5142 Her dad shot the video from his phone...she references that in Instagram...she mentioned that he forgot to film the whole process, but she went ahead and posted what he had shot. That's what I am referring to, not the photographer doing the shoot.

For any whining children that have commented or will comment: Oh please, she's a growing woman, she's allowed to explore whatever styles of clothes she wants, just because you're a fan doesn't mean you're entitled to how she should look. The problem is your attitude, not her clothing. There's nothing wrong with what she's wearing now nor what she will wear in the future. Revealing clothing doesn't mean she's going to end up becoming some terrible person because it's just clothes.

You look fabulous Jackie! I hope you didn't have to stand in the cold for too long. Wouldn't want you to get sick with pneumonia again. One would think they could do the shoot with you in front of an indoor green-screen showing outdoor scenery so you don't have to freeze your butt off.
Great video! I will say that I think you're going for sexier than you need to be. You are a beautiful young lady and an incredible singer. The focus should be on your music, and not your sex appeal. Maybe next photo shoot you can plan ahead of time and be in a worm location. After all, you are the boss, and the others are your employees. It doesn't matter how good they are, if they are not striving to produce the message and image that you want to get across, then they are not worth their salaries. I've never been able to be in the cold for very long without ending up sick, so there's no way I would have given up the coat. The picture they may want to get is not worth my health. I'm fairly psychotic in regards to my hatred of getting the chills followed by illness. Whatever I was doing at the time has never been worth it.
Sony Master Works is paying the bill. Its the photo shot for her new album. Which will be Contemporary show tunes. Sony and Team Evancho collaborate on artistic content but Sony has the final say. They have done nothing remotely distasteful to date. And I see nothing overtly sexualized here.
