@@TheOrlandoTrustfull Yes, he'd not understand many of the references & jokes. He'd see many characters he'd not previously heard of. There'd be a similar issue with Gogglebox. They need to be watched by people who live in the UK & watch a lot of TV.

This episode is great! Mark finally realizes that his perfect woman is the woman he can act himself around, only to get bungled into a scenario the show has been hinting at that he and Jeremy are best together, and hilariously they could raise a baby together and it would at least be one of theirs baby.

Mark is mistaken in regard to Dobby, because she loves various TV shows that he doesn't; she wants to travel a lot & he doesn't. He loves history & she doesn't. They're as mismatched as he & Sophie are. Stephanie is his one, but he walks out on her to continue his moribund relationship with Dobby.

Sophie's main aim is pregnancy. Who the father is & whether or not he wants a kid are much less important to her.

What pisses me off is the reset button they pull with Super Hans in the very next episode in the new season. At the end here you see Hans and Jeremy getting pissed off with one another confronting each other and finally fall out. And you you go "Oh I Wonder what this could mean for next season." The next episode the every first thing you see is them all being chums again like nothing happened.

I mean that's kind of a reoccurring thing in Peep show, and in this sort of show in general. There are tons of moments where Mark fucks up with Sofie for ex when trying to go out with her, like the time he chased a bunch of kids in the street with a metal pipe and Sofie witnessed it, but they were on friendly terms the next episode. This kinda cringe comedy relies on that, because otherwise none of the characters would be friends & want to interact with each other after the first couple episodes.

The 2 main long-term friendships - Jez-Mark & Jez-Hans - are highly dysfunctional. They need each other, so they put up with each other.
