These are nice pens. I really like that grey one. I have three of them and prefer the medium and broad nibs. I appreciate the fact that the nib units are so easily removed for pen cleaning or swapping.
I think I need to start looking into newer Pelikans... 😁 eBay is definitely a good resource for the second hand market. Only real trouble today is a lot of the pictures are still taken with a potato. And there's still some that give misleading information... But the majority of my pens still were bought on eBay. A few from another site, couple from Amazon, one from a reputable individual (cheaper than me trying to restore it. Vacumatic Parker 51.)
I'm so dying to know what ink you put in Beryl. Will it be a nice golden sparkles shimmer ink? I reckon Diamine Golden Sands would look amazing in that. I wouldn't care about writing with it, i'd just sit and look at the pen as i twirl it around like a snow globe. LOL There's got to be a follow up video on what you chose. Purleeeeese! Keep well, Rob.
Lovely pens. I like my M205 very much. Still a bit small for my grip. I am considering going to a M600. I understand the M400 is not a significant difference in size. Do you know if this is true? That the difference is only the nib? It doesn't sound correct.
