PENDULUMS & HOW TO USE THEM 

One personal technique that I find helpful is not only determining the direction of motion, but how energetic it is. A weak yes is seen as less enthusiastic than a strong yes.

If you don't have a pendulum at hand: take a long hair from your head and put a ring from your finger on it. (Provided you're long-haired and wear rings)

My Grandmother could take a piece of red thread about 2 ft. long run it through the eye of a sewing needle tie the ends together and have her pregnant guest sit in a chair and have her lift one hand up and turn it over exposing her wrist. It made no difference , left or right .Grandmother would then hold the tied end and let the needle hang about 1 inch over the wrist. The needle would begin to swing back and forth in one direction . Depending on the direction would determine the baby be born a boy or girl ... I have watched her do this maybe 4 or 5 times and her answers were always right! Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this?

My first pendulum I made with my Mom when I was a kid. It was a simple stone we found together on a beach tied with some cotton twine. I've used a pendulum to locate lost items, to determine dates for travel, to confirm food ideas for dinners and potluck offerings. I've used it in conjunction with the Runes for both divination and non-divination uses. I know your video was a short introduction to pendulums, but I think one important movement to confirm beyond yes/no is "I don't know" or "I don't want to answer". This was a decent intro video, I hope you do more with the pendulum.

I have a bloodstone pendulum that I use whenever something is lost or missed placed. It has always helped me and even my friends when we can't find something. I also ask it if I ever have a loved one or friend close by or are they ok and such. I love using pendulums they can be very helpful.

I have a great pendulum necklace. I mostly just use it as a necklace, but maybe soon.

Embuing a pendulum with a charged energy spirit is fun if a person is comfortable with spirit work. This way the pendulum becomes a talking pocket companion. Say you go to a shop and are undecided which deck to buy, put the 3 on the counter and see which one the pendulum spirit gets excited about. The response can be quite dramatic.

I once used a Herkimer diamond (common where I'm from in nys) on a plain old sewing thread to find my foster mom in another state! I got the idea from watching Charmed! She was surprised when I confined her and explained how I found her! This was about 20 years ago.

First of all, CONGRATS YOU HAVE 8K FOLLOWERS I am specialized in tarots, so I usually use them for everything, but I also have a quartz pendulum and I usually ask it simple questions like "should i buy this? Is it safe?"

I use it to talk to the spirit of my house . He doesn’t always answer but mostly he does . I made one myself out of a chain and Chrystal .

As far as I know, the chamber is not for essential oils or herbs to help but for samples. It's called a sample chamber for use in dowsing. If you are looking for water, you put water in. Looking for gold? Put gold in. That said, do you have personal experience using a sample chamber as you mentioned in the video?

I used a rune amulet made of bone and those cheap leather strap, I hope you know what I mean, instead of pendulum, and I asked it many questions just playing around with it When I got to questions about the gods it told me that I am Loki, I tried multiple questions about him but as if I was him, all of them checked out, and every time I ask the question "am I loki" it tells me yes I have no idea what to do with this information and I have no one to help me figure out what to do with this information

You can actually derive any info out of a endulum ... i have seen it done, but not trained , myself. .....

Why wouldn't you try using a better chart to get more meaningful answers (i.e. like a QWERTY chart or ABC charts)? I have conversations with my guides all the time, greatly transcending the "Yes/No" model that seems to be mainstream in the community - and definitely superseding Tarot!

For anyone who wants to try this. Take a finger ring that you wear often and tie it to a piece of thread. Seated at a table, put your elbow on the table to keep it steady, and hold the string so the ring is an inch or so above the table. The theory is that something spiritual moves the pendulum, so it's not you talking to the pendulum, it's you talking to the spirit.

I’ve been using my pendulums for a couple of years or so. I just realized I can control its movements by telling it thinking it to swing in a specific direction. Now I’m confused. Am I directing the pendulum or is Spirit?

I asked my pendulum "does my subconscious mind cause my pendulum to swing" ? it says "no" "does my higher self cause my pendulum to swing"? no . "does my intuition cause my pendulum to swing"?
