Christianity and Islam are more like exclusivist religions. They preach hatred and bigotry against ‘heathens’ and ’infidels’ that’s why all the hate against pagans. Remember that the 10 commandments say that there is only one god and not to worship idols and we all know about the Quran.
i recently was freed from a lifelong belief in the hebrew mythology called christianity. looking back i realize it ruined my life. i'm once bitten twice shy on following another. although i must say that paganism is absolutely way cooler.
Sometimes i think about people thinking its a phase because im young. But like, even if it is does it matter? Its not hurting me. Its not hurting them. Whats the problem if I change as i grow? So do most other things.
I know I’m 2 years late for this podcast, but planting for pollinators is extremely important. As cities and towns grow, pollinators are losing their habitats. Much of what we call weeds are actually important to certain pollinators. Even having a square yard or meter, and not mowing it. Let weeds, grass, wildflowers grow naturally in that small area. Just a small area like that can make a huge difference. Our lives depend on pollinators.

Where I would disagree with you as a chaos magician is you can use deities and still be doing chaos magick. It’s about choosing to believe it at a certain time. It’s quite literally using ALL forms of magick available. What makes it chaos magick is the fact that you choose to believe in the practices you use, even religions, but you have to embrace them fully and allow yourself to believe in it for it to work. You can go from being a devout Christian for a week, and drop it then go to Satanism, then drop that and go to witchcraft. The power lies within the belief itself. It’s a mindset. So you can say “well that’s more norse paganism”, but what you’re missing is that it’s being used as a tool, you’re not following just that path, you go between different ones, you can CHOOSE to believe in the power of symbols. That’s exactly why it’s chaos magick. Youre right there, but just missing the point by a wee bit. This isnt me coming at you btw lol just clearing things up. You can choose to believe it’s all real all at once. That’s the beauty of it. You get choose what works for you personally. Also, in regards to sigils, aside from set it and forget it, you still need to take actions related to that sigil. Like if it’s about winning the lottery, you have to buy a lottery ticket. If it’s for a job, you still need to be actively looking. It’s more like asking the universe to help out the odds in your favor while actively pursuing what you want. If you set, forget, and do nothing, it’s lazy magick and nothing comes of it. You get nothing by doing nothing. If you want love, you need to go meet people. Basically it’s just trying to metaphysically stack the odds in your favor with things you’re already working towards in the physical world. As above so below, as within so without, as the universe so the soul. It still applies.
I was told if I wasn't baptised I won't get into heaven. I was raised in an atheist household so I don't know where I fit in but I know for a fact I don't fit in with the Baptists!! I like to write my own as it feels more personal and magical that way. I enjoyed your video and I have to say thank you for not putting cuts, jumps whatever it is that people do to their videos now a days into yours. I find it so distracting and can't watch them. Runes stand for themselves. Runes are not hate symbols altogether. The german RU-vidr "The Norse Witch" has made a very good vid about those special Runes , that were invented by a fascist and to be used as hate symbols mostly. She recommends , not to work with those, they aren´t the true Runes ! But sadly some Runes from the elder Futhark are nowerdays used as hate symbols too.. She recommendet to her followers, to pay attention , if such Runes are show up somewhere, as a tattoo for instance and to be careful, when there are more critical symbols around. But the Runes themselves are just antique symbols for spiritual gudance-nothing more and nothing less.

About the contact between beliefs practices and cultures. Well, I particulary find it fascinating. It inspires insights and sensations. And it can always, always work. How? With loyalty. The first thing we should consider is that we are talking about spirituality. So. What is spirituality?

There is too much knowledge and skills. Of I have a pristess that k ows what to do, we can be guided by her. I know how to.lead because it os onnate. So it is not ambition it is just easy. Good. One less thing to worry about. We will need a leader. Whats the best leader? The one who leads and protects, the one responsable to know what to do. Christianity is littered with Magick. Especially Catholicism. Christianity at many roots is Hellenistic and Egyptian. Somewhat Abrahamic somewhat Pagan. More so Pagan if you read the actual ancient Greek. Drugs and sex, medicine is salvation.
Scarlet Ravenswood seems like a very beautiful and intelligent young woman and I’m sure she knows and believes what she says about pagan sacrifice. However, she seems to know little about pre industrial English farming methods or what barley corn looks like. The “long beards” in the poem/song refer to the long hairs that grow from the ears of barley. “Cut him off at the knee” refers to the ripe plants of barley which were cut, gathered and tied into sheaves which were then stacked into stooks around the field. “Wheeled him round and round” refers to the sticking and collecting of the sheaves in carts. And so on and so forth, describing the method of harvesting, threshing in the barn and bagging of the grain. The bags of grain were then transported to the local wind or water mill to be ground into flour - between two millstones, Some of the barley grains were taken into the malting loft to be turned into malt which was then transported to the brew house to be fermented into ale. So Scarlet tells an interesting story but the poem/song accurately describes the sowing, growing, harvesting and processing of barley corn into flour and ale. Unlike Scarlet I am old enough to remember the old harvesting methods. As a young boy I lived on the edge of a small, barely mechanised farm. The excitement of the year was harvest time when the corn (wheat or barley) was cut by a horse or tractor drawn reaping and binding machine which cut the corn into sheaves. The sheaves were gathered by hand and stacked for later collection. I feel honoured to have witnessed the pre-combined harvester process. A threshing machine was hired to separate the grain from the sheaves in the farmyard. It put the grain into sacks and the threshed corn plants were baled. Apart from the limited use of machines the sowing, growing and harvesting of wheat and barley corn had been the same for hundreds or thousands of years. Sorry Scarlet, investigate medieval and early modern corn (barley and wheat) cultivation before theorising about pagan practices 😊
