I love that spot. I activated that park on 2m FM alone! But, after that, couldn't help it. I had to slip 20m CW in too... I'm going to have to order that radio. I like what I've seen with it so far.

That looks like a very fun program, unfortunately us Chromebook users will never get to have fun like that unless there is some type of $300 solution that my retirement can fund, lol. I have a TR-45L Skinny on order. My TR-35 is in for repairs as I broke off the BNC connector one morning during an activation. Its hard to get by without a radio you use every morning, lol. Jon, thanks for another fun video! Funny coincidence about AE2T, same thing happened to me a few days ago with him. I was activating a park, he answered my CQ, I asked him to send his call again because I wanted to be sure of what I heard since he does have such a wonderfully short call. After he sent his call, he just vanished! I guess he got bored or had something else he wanted to do. Just odd to me that the same thing happened to both of us.
Oh, and since you did ask for thoughts… I try to always send some kind of short greeting (GM/A/E, whatever), but I don’t feel that it is necessary. As you said, operate however you want! It’s all just a fun hobby so I hope no one would get too cross if they didn’t get a greeting or something. I do it because I enjoy the human aspect of the hobby just as much as the equipment, but my thought has always been to do what makes you happy and don’t worry so much about what others think.
Great video! I of course listened till our QSO came up about 12min in, lol. I was using a (tr)uSDX I just built. So it was great to hear the audio. I have built the TR-35 and love it too.
