Hi! I'm working on carving tutorial, meanwhile here are some tips on how to carve downhill effectively:
1) your trucks should be loose enough to make tight turns and be able to control your speed
2) Rotate your shoulders into the turn and look where you’re going
3) Lean is important to compensate centrifugal force
4) Crouching is even more important as your lower your center of gravity and reduce your body momentum that pushes your out of the turn
5) Foot position - standing on bolts produces maximum pressure on the wheels so you get better grip. But you may want to put rear foot on the kick tail just to have it right on bolts after deep crouching
6) Weight distribution - mostly on front foot to avoid wobbles but to turn sharper shift your weight more to the rear leg and when carving hard to slow down keep your feet loaded evenly for stability and grip.
