How can Dr. Steward be a descendant of Joan (the cut wife) when Joan was alive earlier in Vanessa's life? She must at least be a daughter, but surely no farther down the line than that?

+briraii Joan was alive for more than a century or two. I think Joan says she helped Cromwell or someone famous and hence how she keeps the hut. I also think they mentioned their related, not necessarily mother-daughter
