Step-by-step tutorial on how to crochet simple top. This is started at the neck opening with a ring, then worked into a pentagon opening. Crochet going down the body until desired body width measurement. Join at the sides to create an arm opening and waist. Very easy to follow crochet pattern. And you have the option to make this as a poncho.

I’m making this pattern with #4 medium weight yarn and a G Hook and it’s much heavier feeling than the yarn she used. I’m going to make one with #3 weight next, maybe a variegated yarn.
