No, you are wrong. Scott and Kirstie dated in high school before he came out as gay. They still adore each other and Scott posts their old dating pictures on his instagram on her birthday. If you watch their tour stuff you will see they have no problem singing to each other on stage and giggling together backstage. You rarely see friends that comfortable together.

Their cover of Ed Sheeren’s Perfect is STUNNING. “Beyoncé” makes an appearance in that video as well, it doesn’t seem like many reactors do that one but I highly recommend it.

I absolutely LOVE this version WAY more than the original, and I can give you a very simple reason why. When Gaga & Cooper sing it, they are two actors in a movie who barely know each other singing a very deep and emotional song to each other. Kirstie & Scott, on the other hand, are two life-long friends who are VERY close, been thru a LOT together, and even dated for a while in high school before Scott came out. Who better to convey the real emotions of these lyrics than these two? As you said, watch the way they look at each other in this video. It is SO obvious that there is a lot of REAL love in those expressions. That's something that even the best movie actors can't express realistically.

In one of them you actually get to go behind the scenes of this video and see that they actually shot two in the same day! For some reason I thought you had covered this a month ago. There is a behind the scenes video that shows between takes/shots Kirstin and Scott were goofing around a ton. I think it helps they have been friends for all their lives and tried dating as teens (after Kirstin broke up with Mitch but before he dated Scott) Both of them can be silly but they also know when to be serious, so that discipline kicks in too.

I checked your playlist against Pentatonix' list of videos and just looked at the older ones that I liked to see what was missing. I'm sure I'm ignoring some that are other people's favorites but meh. :D "Rather Be" is similar in energy to "Sing." I'm certain you would love it. Also, "New Rules x Are You That Somebody" mashup is just a fantastic display of Kevin and Matt stealing the show in the first 20 seconds. Missing from your list: Somebody That I Used to Know Carol of the Bells Little Drummer Boy (these are the only two purely Xmas music videos I'll mention in this list) Save the World/Don't You Worry, Child Royals (Lorde cover) La La Latch Where Are Ü Now? Silent Night is one of my all time favorites of theirs. But you have to watch the live version performed in a church. It literally sounds like angels are singing. Kirstie and Avi really shine in that one! ❤

I just recently said on another reaction that one of the things that makes this special to me is that each of them gets showcased for what makes them unique. Kevin and Beyonce are a power couple, Matt's bass-line cannot go unnoticed, Scott is reveling in his full broody soulfulness, Mitch is dancing with angels and Kirstie reminds us yet again what a powerhouse she is. I feel like if you wanted a newcomer to understand the talent of these guys as individuals as well as a group, you could just send them this way.

Isn’t this beautiful? Using the blk, white and gold is a nod of respect to Lady GaGa as the original album cover is blk, white and gold. Also at 5:37 Kevin plays a bit of bad romance to honor her. They never fail to respect the original and then put their beautiful spin on it. Their covers of “ Perfect”. And “New rules x are you that somebody”. are brilliant.

Scott and Kirstin are really Great Friends. But there is a 'Special' Love between them as Friends. Go back and look, there are dozens of videos of where Scott and Kirstin give each other dozens of Extra Special 'Looks' at each other. Last example "Seasons of Love". Each give Heart Melting Looks to each other...

Of all of their videos where Beyoncé makes an appearance, and there are only maybe a dozen, this is by far my favorite. I love the tone and smoothness of his cello playing. I also think this is on of the better examples of his cello boxing. The rest of the group are their usual terrific selves. I do like their version better than the original even though I’m a big Lady Gaga fan.

Not 100% sure you’ll see this BUT I think you should react to The Sugababes - Caught in a moment live reload session. Their a UK group who were really big in the early 2000s. The original members are reunited and had reissued their first album as a 20th anniversary gift to the OG fans. They’re working on new material as well.

This is up there near the top of my favorites list. It's so emotional and gripping. I pretty much live under a rock and had never heard the original, but I did after hearing this, and I just keep coming back to PTX's version. Kirstin's cry in her voice is so compelling, Kevin's playing is just so smooth, Scott's grit and rawness melt my heart, then Matt's insane bass rattles whatever is left! But I'll always end with my Mitchy and the flawless execution of everything he sings!

I’d love to hear them - or just Kirstie - do “I’ll Never Love Again.” I agree with the comment about this particular song being overplayed, but in 5 to 10 years, I believe we’ll be swooning again when we hear it.

Speaking of covering "Shallow" you should check out Floor Jansen (yan-sen) covering it in a Dutch tv series called Beste Zangers in 2019. She did one version with Tim Akkerman (another Dutch artist) and solo. The version I'm recommending is the solo version but a double reaction could be good to warm up with their duet. The gold jewelry and fixtures showing as color against the black-and-white filming is a throwback to the posters for the movie, which were all black-and-white with the only color being the gold lettering in the words "A Star Is Born".

For another group, one that gets far too little recognition, please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please *INHALE* please do yourself the favor of listening to 2 songs by Delta Rae, both of which are good for October, though with completely different tones. Dance in the Graveyards and Bottom of the River. It's hard to say which to watch first, but I think Dance in the Graveyards. Their music is hard to pin down, but Southern Gothic seems to fit the best. The video production of these two songs is incredible. Like Pentatonix, their live performances are at least as good as their videos.

Not that you should stop this at all but if you're looking for someone new to react to, do you know who P!nk is? She has been around since 2000-2002 (I forget) but I feel she is severely underrated in the US. Her songs may make you cry, laugh or get mad but they all (mostly) make you think!
