PTX do not do anything in a studio, that they don't do exactly the same on stage. Also, they don't do covers, they enhance them. They are truly amazing and have laid the ground work for other a Capella groups that are coming out now. Original singers Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.

Haha. So many of us say that they are Beyond human understanding But This is simply perfect. During the pandemic Mitch got on his roof and recorded Billie Elishes. “Your power”. He said if she was brave enough to write it, he wanted to honor her and sing it. Honor her he did! It’s hauntingly beautiful

You're correct, it's Italian... and most people guess Spanish 😄 The original was the Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli (and Celine Dion). Scott worked with an Italian tutor for six weeks to get the pronunciation as good as he possibly could.

What some people also don't know, is that it was in The Quest for Camelot movie. Whoever wrote the song wrote it for Celine to sing in the movie, and Andrea for the Italian version of the movie. Then it eventually got turned into a duet.

Mitch has one of the purest voices I have EVER heard. This song just brings out emotions!!!Dang...That is GRAMMY WORTHY if I ever heard one!!! Just all vocals is stunning!! Agreed and I like the others as well, they just hit differently. "Coffee in Bed" one of their originals from pandemic time. "Happy Now" is also very good.

The studio doesn't seem to matter as much when you learn that they don't arrange and record anything they can't duplicate live. Btw...there are a couple of live performances of this song on "The RU-vids"...you should react to that.

Pure Pentatonix Perfection. Everything about this is perfection - the arrangement, the vocals, the ear candy, the videography, the message. Mitch singing so clear and pure, hitting each note perfectly with those runs and vibratos. Scott's baritone on the operatic presentation in Italian. Kirstie belting those sharp notes. Matt keeping the bass undertone. Kevin with drums and clashing cymbals. All of them together harmonizing, rising to the crescendo and Mitch coming in again. The stunning videography. Just beautiful. As we all know Pentatonix is an incredibly diverse group of talented individuals, and their taste in music is so widely spread between all five of them. Not many people actually realize that this is a mashup arrangement. The first half with Mitch and Scott's duet in Italian, is the traditional Celine Dion and Andrea bocelli version. However the second half is the gospel cover version of the song done by Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin. Not many people realize that, but majority of Pentatonix grew up loving gospel music, and it is present in quite a few of their songs. Thanks for the reaction, but to piggyback on other people there was some issues with your audio. Good luck on the next one and be careful with the copyright gods they are very crucial when it comes Pentatonix 🙏🏾❤️

The absolute best version of The Prayer is by Marcelito Pomoy on the Wishbus. You will not believe what you are hearing. Very unique, incredible voice. Won’t say any more….don’t want to give it away. Need to watch soon. You will be very glad you did. Please and thanks! 🙏🏼

Imagine is a really good one to react to also Carole of the Bells is a really good one either live or the video also called "does Mitch breathe" and yes it is a Christmas song. I highly recommend you search this song performed live. Even if you don't film a reaction. They performed it live for a TV show, can't remmember which one. It's amazing how close it is to the studio version. I personally like it better. And Mitch sounds exactly the same, it's unbelievable.

Hi there! First time viewer! As a partially deaf person, captions are always a plus. However I felt you were a little far from your mic so it was hard to understand you at times. I was constantly adjusting my volume(on the computer at the moment so it was easy but sometimes we watch on the tv) because your intro music was loud, then you were quiet, then the PTX video was louder than you were. I finished watching to at least enjoy your facial reactions. I'm willing to check out another of your videos(Sound of Silence is suggested) and hopefully I'll be able to hear you. =)

I enjoyed your reaction, but the audio was very problematic for me. Your speaking audio was very low, the music audio much louder, and the crackling filter ever louder. Maybe it was just a problem for me? But I spent the whole time adjusting volume and swearing when you quickly switched, and I got a blast of static and voice.
