I naturally stopped watching all their stuff. Then I find these videos. Really makes me realize why I quit.

The clip of Burr shutting down Christina's psycho-analysis will always be sweet. I had a boss that was a self-certified therapist from their years in therapy.

Their outright arrogance killed the show... They really have made it seem they are "above" everyone.

Thinking that 10 years of therapy makes you a therapist might be the most psychotic thing i have ever heard.

One of the reasons the show went down is that people realized that the show is just rich dumb people laughing at poor dumb people.

I mean, he started selling these really cringe photos of himself to his followers on Instagram. That to me says it all. Glad he made it but goddamn, 2015 Tom would roast the shit out of current Tom.

For a period of time YMH was the funniest podcast hands down - and that was out of a sea of really funny podcasts. When it was just the two of them and the occasional friend in their home studio it felt like the freshest thing around and now its the polar opposite.

Tom is a good example of becoming the thing you hate the most, Garth Brooks. I think it's time we start asking psycho Tom Segura where the damn bodies are. Where are the bodies Tom!!!

Every time I watch one of your videos it makes me feel more sane and validated lol. I've been consuming comedy as my main content since I was like 11 and it's rough seeing so many people that I used to think were funny turn into cringe narcissists. But the weird mind fuck is that I wonder a lot of the time if it's just me and I'm just becoming like some sort of out of touch snowflake or something. Thank you for standing up for us comedy consumers and pointing out the obvious changes in some of these guys.

I didn't know Tom was on TRT. It's all making sense. No wonder he's changed, he's hormonal like a teenager going through puberty. He thinks he's a bro now.

When Louie first got cancelled Tom and Christina shit on him big time on their podcast, then when Louie started doing small comedy clubs they shit on him again. It was interesting to see their attitudes change when they had Louie on their podcast.

Remember if you're feeling bad for Tom calling you poor or out of shape, this man almost died from doing one single uncontested lay-up, after months of practice for this very moment.

Omg it just struck me what the problem is... He mentioned taking Testosterone. That can completely change some guys' personalities. I tried TRT and it made everything waaay more irritating to me. I even quit a job I really needed that paid well. Just walked off the job in the middle of the day without saying anything to anyone because someone pissed me off. Months later once the TRT had completely left my body and mind, I realized it was 100 percent because of the testosterone. I wonder if his personality really started changing around the time he started Testosterone. Might be a good video idea if you look into it.

I love that Tarantino called him out on being completely unprepared for your guest, and then trying to just totally trying to play it off. It’s Quentin freakin Tarantino! And he’s always a fascinating guest every time I’ve seen him in interviews

It was so wild to see the rise of Tom and how quickly he became disconnected from his fans and a normal reality.

Why does no one call out Tom for getting a chemical face peel, and got so embarrassed about it, he made up a story about a light falling on his face?

If you go back and listen to their old eps when they were in the apartment, you'll find that Tom changed so much. The biggest difference is that Tom really cared about the show and after they split with Redban he really got hands on with the recording. He'd be preparing bits and hunting down sound clips. He really came off as somebody who did it for the love of the game while also having a healthy ambition.

I enjoyed the hell out this show and then during the pandemic, there was an episode where Tom was being real nasty to his producer. It's like being over at a friend's house where the parents are generally cool, and then one evening the dad just starts being embarrassingly angry and you're like "ah, I'm probably not hanging at Dave's anymore, makes me feel uncomfortable to be here now.".

Bro the fact that Tom's wife got to coat-tail this whole thing is wild to me. I mean she's just a straight up slob who is not funny AT ALL. Just a super try-hard who tom carried and for some odd reason stayed with her this whole time.

I was an original Mommy. Had watched for over ten years. The downfall started when they moved into their first big studio and only continued to decline from there.

I used to love YMH because it was funny and light. WTH happened to Tom Segura? He needs to realize that "rich" people don't know about his existence.

I started watching YMH in 2018 - and 100% the move to Austin and massively banking episodes destroyed the show. They weren't a current affairs news podcast but considering they were delayed by over 2 months they couldn't even bring up like when Norm McDonald died or, like any REAL material for fear of showing how long ago they phoned in the episode.

Tom's first two specials on Netflix are awesome. The last two (that I've seen there may be more) were not nearly as good as the latest one even felt awkward. Felt like there was still a lot of working out to do and he was clearly just coasting on his stardom.

I’d like to hear Nadav’s REAL reason for leaving….. What’s sad is how ignorant they are of how they’ve become such stereotypical stuck up rich people. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll ever change. They (especially Tom) are such ridiculous narcissists they’ll likely never have the capacity to see themselves objectively.

I started falling off with it when the podcasts were further and further pre-taped, and the guests felt more and more just like famous people that Tom and Christine wanted to meet, a lot of the fun was lost.. Expanding the podcast network was an interesting move but Dr. Drew, and even Danny Brown made sense because they were friends. When the onlyfans chick popped up I knew it was over.

Segura is a classic Mercury story - flew too close to the sun. Dude thought he could slam dunk, hurt himself, all downhill from there.

The bit where Bert mentioned hanging out with the guy who wrote Tom’s comedy wasn’t implying he used ghost writers, he’s implying that his entire façade is an act. He’s attempting to be a modern Andy Kaufman. It’s not real.

it's hard for me to articulate exactly why but it's definitely not the same. I discovered YMH when I was working nights in 2014, during that time I was always so happy to see a new episode drop as I knew the next 2hrs or so of work wasn't going to suck so hard because I could laugh at some nonsense. at some point the tone shifted, I didn't like the change to an 'interview' format, I didn't mind the odd guest but they were always there to just hang out and talk shit, laugh at some videos. I just find their current brand so pretentious and they have gotten far too blase about revealing their contempt for the audience. I will cherish the years of enjoyment I got from them but I have no interest in continuing

Segura is like that one episode of the simpsons when homer worked out for afew weeks, then started making fun of his family. He's not in phenomenal shape, I liked him because he had clever jokes. I don't mind a comedian saying they hate people. We all hate people, but calling them poors and acting like he's a male model now was too much. I like relatable, humble comedy, like how Chapelle or bur make fun of people, but they make you feel like you can relate. Not many people in this economy can relate to making fun of the poor.

The weirdest thing to me was when he announced his new tour. I thought for sure he was thinking that he barely kept everything going during that tour, but he made it through it and now he can slow down and consolidate, but he immediately announces another one? There's almost no way he can do it again without killing his podcast or stand-up

Don't forget that Christina threw Louis CK under the bus in the immediate wake of his MeToo controversy. She said she would find it difficult to work with him (as if he ever would have asked). Fast forward just a few years, when Louis rebuilt his career and overcame the scandal, and Louis is a guest on their podcast. Christina couldn't have been happier to have him there, yukking it up with him.

I saw the biggest change after his dad died and after covid when he started taking more work. He is burning out, it shows when his chemistry with Christina has suffered in the last 10-20 episodes .

I think Nadav leaving the show at the peak of it's success should tell us all something. YMH was my favorite pod for awhile but that era has passed.

I was a big YMH fan, starting in 2015, but I have stopped following since the pandemic. The reason podcasts resonate with me is if the format is really unique and/or the hosts are authentic and there to just be silly. It's a parasocial hang with people you like. Tom and Christina lost their authenticity, plain and simple. Tom wants to be both old and current Howard Stern, abusing his staff for laughs while also interviewing celebrities. The former comes off as just mean, and he's not skilled enough to pull off the latter. Thr spin off shows aren't interesting, either. I tune into Are You Garbage and Chubby Behemoth these days.

No one deserves it more.

Man back in 2015, i messaged Tom on facebook asking when he would be in my town (raliegh nc) and he responded with tour dates, and he was appreciative that i even knew who he was then. He has completely changed and lost what made him likeable in the first place.

Louie's take on the business and nature of comedy is really deep and amazing, he hasn't changed at all from his writing days to clubs to theaters and arenas and even after he got canceled, he's one of the few who was doing arenas while being called the greatest comic alive by legendary comics, it doesn't usually go both ways, his humbleness is what allowed him to comback, no tue comic ever spoke badly of him, they defended him after that set leak, and he put his friends in everything he made, Tom should take a look at himself and realize the poors are the only ones listening to his 100 podcasts while working, without them he'll never make a dime, he hasn't written a show or any movie or anything worthwhile besides doing podcasts

Agreed 100%. I used to watch them when they're doing their podcast from their house. That atmosphere is now nowhere to be found and everything is behind a paywall.

You’re absolutely right about Tom becoming more Hollywood. I live in Texas and since everyone has moved here it’s become unbearable. Over populated and prices have skyrocketed along with mortgages. So essentially Tom never left LA. It’s become the same place minus the good weather and awesome beaches

Ever since Fed Smoker died it broke something inside Tom, he's never been the same again and Christina has given up trying to find him.

When Tom snapped acting like he was some superstar I quit following him. Tom has always made it seem like everyone in his circle is there for his personal entertainment, there for his enjoyment and to belittle. It’s disgusting watching him talk down to everyone like he’s in some top echelon. Really enjoy your honest approach to your content. Anytime you drop a video I click immediately.

I love how everyones turned within the last 6 months, when most of the original YMH fans stopped watching when they started doing those 1 night only pay for this show events.. over 4 plus years ago now.. All the newer fans were so nasty to that opinion. They deserve this guy tbh.. It shows the changing opinion on being okm with charging for the same free thing that had always been free suddenly. As far as Tom’s crazy workload for the past 3-4 years, and announcing ANOTHER world tour, don’t forget that he has two very young children that he barely sees. Christina has complained multiple times on her pod about Tom being an absent father during his last tour…and, now he already booked another multi year world tour. I’m predicting that their marriage isn’t going to survive this new tour. Peace.

Makes me sad. We watched for the last 6 years and gradually fell off over the last year. It started with the episodes all being recorded so far in advance that it's impossible to be topical (in regards to current events). Plus Tom really leaned into the big baller/health and fitness persona. He makes valid and good points about it but when it's EVERY episode it becomes unbearable.

He got a chef, got a trainer, and a doctor that said yea, dude you need TRT...He's a comedian, not a regular person with a real job.

I really love Tom and Christina but I have to admit that recently I’ve started not enjoying their podcasts as much as I used to. I used to never skip an episode but I’ve Definetly skipped episodes lately.

It's really sad when this happens. I liked Tom because he felt so down to earth, I'm always looking for naturally funny people and I never even imagined that someone as real as Tom has been for years would just start getting faker and faker. I have been left breathless after YMH episodes and now it's just Christina complaining about liberols and Tom talking about how much he loves being rich. I was so sad Nadav left but now that I think about it, maybe his laugh was more forced than we thought.
