Enjoyed the video. I over seeded my front yard with rye and it’s barely hanging on. I wanted to spray it out a couple weeks ago but the wife wanted me to wait until after this weekend for a party we are having.
Thanks for the support and the comment. I have one for my cal trimmer and Mclane. The trucut i used in this video belongs to a friend of mine and he doesn’t own one and convincing him to get one. I agree with you that it’s a awesome accessory for anyone with those reel mowers. 👍🏻
I had an older Mclane that i did scalp with. I haven’t with my current one but used my California trimmer which is similar in power. It will scalp but will require multiple pass and may bog down in some of the thicker patches. I just prefer the way the tru cut performs and would credit it to the 5.5hp motor and a chain driven system vs belt
