Hey guys and welcome to todays video.. I hope you enjoy this series on how we can better use the products we already have but let me know your thoughts in the comments.. Love xx
I have been using Argiriline for about 2 years now (after hearing about it on this channel) and I have considerably fewer, and less noticable wrinkles on my forehead at 52 than I had in my 20's. Always had very dry skin, so had a wrinkled forehead from my teens, but this stuff is like a magic potion! Xxx
Same here! I started using it about a year and a half ago after this channel was explaining how good it was at smoothing wrinkles. It’s made an enormous difference!
@@MadAboutSkin I love having a breakdown of ingredients and actives, how to use them, and when and what kind of results we can expect. Azelaic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, snail mucin....anything that promises to make a difference with continued use. It is so helpful to know what kind of formulations are actually beneficial, and what is essentially just marketing fluff. I don't jump on any skincare trends until I check in and see what you recommend. Thank you so much for doing the work for us, and making this so easy to understand. Our skin and our pocketbooks appreciate you so much! ❤
Hi Rob! I think it's important to mention that argireline is a trademark name, it is often listed as Acetyl hexapeptide-8 in the ingredients list. Sending love ❤❤❤.
omg, thanks for this! Just checked this is the 5th ingredient in the ordinary multi-peptide serum and 3rd one in this ARGIRELINE solution. Therefore, I don't think there's a large merit in using this botox in a bottle separately if already using the multi-peptide serum
Still after some years now, Rob remains the most genuine person on the internet, giving us amazing skincare advice and only ever asking us to like the video. How anyone could not like any of this man’s videos is beyond me. I’ve been watching off and on for years. Such a wonderful man and the best channel for skincare I have ever watched. Sending much love to you Rob and THANK YOU, for always giving us the low down. ❤❤
I've been using the Ordinary Agireline for about 3 months now and it's made a real difference on the 11 lines between my eyebrows. They're barely noticeable now.
@@sageizm well I also use retinol /peptides regularly plus glycolic acid serum 2 to 3 times a week too. I notice that my 11 lines were improving but they improved even more once I added the Agireline. I find thou you have to be consistent, I didn't really see much change till about 5 weeks in.
I've been using this serum by your recommendation, for 2 years and I have been Botox free for 20 months mow!!! I really can't move my forehead muscles very much. Thank you dear Rob❤
I use The Ordinary's Agereline 10% serum every single day, but usually only at night. I will now start using it before I apply my makeup in the mornings. I do have those fine lip lines. I am 54, but everyone says i look 10 years younger. I credit my good skin to genetics, (thank you Grandma!!) staying out of the sun but still wearing sunscreen, a good skincare routine that I use on a daily consistant basis and making sure I am educated about the ingredients in the skincare products I do use.
Thanks for another great video and the reminders to get the best results! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the IQ Naturals Triple Power Serum with Argireline and Matrixyl 3000. I'm curious if it would be the same potency as TO as it states it contains 30% argireline and 30% matrixyl. I was hoping to save a step by finding a serum that had both ingredients, but I haven't seen any skincare savvy folks like you reviewing it. Thanks again for all you do!
A super video thanks so much Rob. The extra tips on how to apply are really useful. Lol I am lying in bed watching this on my iPad realising I am giving myself techneck
I knew I couldn't resist forever, so now I am on the journey of enjoying Argireline and other peptides. And the extra bonus, my neck isn't screaming at me so hopefully some anti aging can happen finally too 😊. Thanks for sharing consistently.
Rob you are an absolute legend. 😅Had so much great advice and information with my skincare journey from you. I'm almost 53 and regularly surprise people when they discover my age.
Great video. Thanks Rob! I have been using this The Ordinary Agirrline for a bit but am not consistent. I do like 2 step process and will start tonight! And add to my lips too. 🙏 I have recently add ed the Medik8 Liquid Peptides (which I’m going to add the 2 step process to too 👍🙏). Which should I apply 1st? Thanks. Joe
I think I started on the Argiriline about two years back on the recommendation here, I'd noticed that 11 lines appearing, barely notice them now and I'm mid 60s! ❤
Hey rob, I found another full bottle of agireline yay yay, I like saving money 😂 been using it twice a day again and use retinoid at night perfecto thank you ❤❤ xx
@@MadAboutSkin always do rob! ❤️ I’ve been using the ordinary 2% retinoid emulsion for a week now, no problems 😍 going to start using my ordinary Botox in the bottle 😂 again xx
Speaking of lip balms, when will MAS be back in stock? It's my favorite! 😊 It's been a hot minute since I've watched the channel but whenever I have questions or want to know what's new this is my first stop and you never disappoint! ❤
Oh thank you so so much hun, your continued support means a lot to me.. The MAS products are being rebranded right now but that should all be finished this month and things will be back in stock.. if you sign up to the newsletter on the website I will be announcing the restock there first.. sending you so much love x
Hey, my friend. Thank you as always for the great advice. I have a question. I'm wondering what other serums I can use with the Argireline. I remember a video from not too long ago where I think you mixed it with the Matrixyl, or the Transemic acid. I think it would be a big deal to try to find that video. Thank you!
Hey hun thank you so much for watching.. I think this is the video you mentioned and I still recommend doing it this way ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4ZG6D0KYvqE.html
I found your channel through searching for argireline and have used it ever since! My 11s have definitely improved and above my lip. I am definitely going to try it on my lips now…and 2x a day!! I only use it on specific areas before I apply my multi peptide. I’m going to be slapping that Medipeel one all over my chest too!!😂❤
Haha lets all bathe in it for the best results lol.. I am so so grateful you found the channel Jan and if I have argireline to thank for that I love it even more :) .. sending love x
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Rob, you are the one who introduced me to The Ordinary Argireline serum. Wow, what a difference it made with my complexion. I use it combination with other peptides, prescription Tretinoin, and lots of hydration. I so appreciate you for your research and sharing it with us. Question, can you use the Argireline with The Ordinary EUK 134 serum? I do not use vitamin C. Oooo, adding to the lips 👄, brilliant. Great video 👏🏽👏🏽. Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
I love your videos! I am sorry if you answered this, but is this applied before my daily moisturizer which is of course thicker? and I assume before any castor oil or thick night cream? Thank you as always!!! 😊
I Iove your content❤❤ ❤❤❤❤! Is this correct: 2x a day... couple of drops main forehead lines nose bridge marionette lines lip lines and lips lips then my decolletage. Is that right? Do you believe in doing special face massages too or is this enough? Is this step good after cleansing? Sorry Rob, I am mentally challenged! ❤😂 I want to switch products and would love to hear what you recommend in what order?
When you said the lips was thinking i would love a video on lip plumping not the instant ones but the longer term ones think ark do a lip plumper not tried it x
For those in Spain the best one I have found is the Singuladerm (now Primaderm) XPERT Expression Serum Sublime; it has 6% Argireline 5% Munapsys™ 2% Neøclair Pro™ 1% Meiview™
AMAZING!! LOVE YOU ROB. I use the argireline with timeless co-enzyme (as per anti aging vid of yours) - can i use this combo at night before my retinal? Thank you :) P.s I am also throwing away my drinking bottle and going back to a glass save those lines !!
Thanks for the tips. I was considering the MooGoo argiraline but didn’t buy it because I read on their site that you can’t combine it acids or retinoids. This would mean I use it literally never. Is theirs a different kind of peptide? How sure are you that the traditional argiraline can be used with other actives? Also, which product has the highest or optimal % of this ingredient?
most brands will just put dont use with low ph ingredients across all peptide products but there is nothing which says PH alone impacts peptides.. One study showed low PH, high temperature and high pressure impacted them but you will never have the other 2 in skincare so its totally fine.. I would look for a strength of 5-15% for the best results x
EEK! I just ran out. I use peptides every day after my vit c serum. Another content creator said not to use peptides after c since the low ph of the C can destroy the bonds of the Peptides. So now I wait a bit, or use something before the peptides. Does it even matter??
Really need advice, I get completely confused at what things go together and the actual technique of applying - all over face, pat in, rub in etc. am I unnecessarily duplicating products? Thanks Rob❤
HI hun, I hope this video came in useful and I would always recommend applying in a way which feels good, if patting products in works for you then do it, personally I prefer to lightly rub them in but its all personal preference.. love x
Sorry if you’ve covered this before but do you ever do “in office” procedures like lasers, etc or use at home devices like NuFace? Just wondering if you rely solely on skincare serums and moisturizers etc ☺️❤
Hi hun, I dont personally do any which is not because I dont like them its just I have been able to get the results I want with serums.. I have had a few peels in the past and liked them but I do them infrequently.. love x
Actually I use the second round of Argerline with matrixyl and 2 drops of picnogenal plus a few drops of amino acid. It does wonders for me but İ don't know if I am doing the right thingor not
Hi Rob, Did you say that argiriline is in the Ordinary Multi Peptide and Copper Peptide Serum because that is what I’m currently using in the evening with my Retin-A?😢
Personally I do not pair it with some ingredients because it's in the product directions given by The Ordinary, they say to avoid using with direct vitamin C, direct acids, resveratol, ferulic acid and salicylic acid. I think it's not because of some strange reaction, all these products are formulated at a very low pH (at least from The Ordinary), so it is possible that it would actually be the formula of the argireline serum to hinder the action of these other products, likely because of neutralization due to pH difference. I already use your application technique though, it makes so much sense to use a targeted application before spreading on the rest of the face, I do this with a total of 5 drops.
Hey hun, how are you? Thanks for your thoughts and I think thats a fair point for sure.. I am so glad the application technique is working for you :) love x
@@MadAboutSkin Well now I'm wondering if I am missing out, I will try to space it from the other serums so the pH has time to adjust, I do this sometimes but others I just want to get my routine done :)
A range of peptides which work in a similar way are in the stratia one so you wouldn't need a separate argireline alongside it if that makes sense :) love x
Hi! I'm using argireline only once a day. On the site of TO says not to use it with vitamin c. So I was afraid to use them together. Maybe the vitamin c is not effective with argireline? I don't know what to do 🤔🤔
Hi hun, the ordinary state that they worry the low PH of the vitamin c would impact the argireline.. They say this out of an abundance of caution as there are no studies which show PH alone impacts peptides.. hope this helps x
Hi hun, yes it can be used during pregnancy but I always recommend people speak to their pregnancy professional to make double sure its fine for them and its great to be used post botox :) xx
Thankfully there are so many good ones out there with argireline in now.. My own serum has it in and will be back in stock this month, the cosrx 6 peptide has it in and the ordinary copper peptide one does too :) love x
