Tried it! It came out great :D Thanks so much! It is a very basic potato, but still better then all the other recipes I found! Definitely Recommend! Tip: Stab that potato with a fork like there's no tomorrow lmao
Thank You!!! Just the facts…. Not a long boring dragged out commentary from someone who loves to hear themselves talk! Thank you - thank you - thank you!!!
A recipe I found: poke holes with fork and wash potatoes, place in microwave for 5 mins and 2 mins for every extra potato you add. Oil them and season with salt and pepper, place directly on the oven tray at about 190 degrees c, cook for about 20 - 30 mins until dark brown and crispy,
Not trying to knock your recipe but I’ve figured out how steakhouse’s have the best tasting potatoes. What’s funny is I use to always do it this way until I found out that restaurants don’t put holes in them so I’ve been baking mine at 400’ for an hour or so depending on the size and not putting holes just using oil and salt and they are just like a steak house’s baked potatoes. They are fluffy inside and have a much better taste. It seems like it’s like a great steak if you cut it too soon all the juices will run out and it won’t be moist. I guess it’s the same with potatoes. Also I read somewhere that if you drop them after cooking it will make the inside even more fluffy it’s works and is a game changer.
Pickled cucumber, pickled pepper, pickled carrot and pickled cabages are chopped finely and mixed with cooked peas. Baked potatoes are split, first butter, than mozzarella cheese is put on top, chopped mixed pickles are added, and a lot of katchup is poured on the top and eaten with pleasure. We call this dish kumpir in Kurdish. Thank you🍀🌺🌼
I like to stick my poked potaters in the microwave for like 3-6 minutes depending on the size lol I don’t do anything to the skin since I add butter, sour cream and cheese on top when it’s done.
Try putting them in the microwave what's the oil or butter on them in the salt and pepper, the celt dries out the skin and gives it more of a baked in the oven texture at only 8 minutes compared to almost an hour
Thank you🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣 Sandy azz potatoes I’m doing sum right now and I was just looking to see who does theirs like me. 1. Wash your potatoes lol 2. Put them in a pressure cooker or pot for no longer than 10 mins. (This softens the outer potatoe and speeds up the oven process. 3. Wrap it in aluminum foil, place it on a 2 1/2 inch high - non stick pan. 4. Set your oven very high, I do 500 for 35mins. 5. You have a perfectly cooked baked potatoe. Once you add your toppings take a bite and see for yourself how moist.
You can do 400 for 1 hour too, try your own variations. That's what gaining cooking skill is all about. It's fine to go for recipes as starting points/templates but playing with that template is where you really learn to cook for yourself.
Aftee baking, cut it half, carefully scoop out the potato (leave a bit in the skin so it doesn't tear). Mix the scooped bits to your liking, seasoning (organo, Italian, Greek, salt, pepper, butter, etc.), sour cream or creamed cheese, bacon pieces...whatever you like. Return filling to skins. Add shredded mozzarella. Broil until melted. Top with thinly sliced green onions. 👌🏿
Bruh i tried in a microwave and it tasted like plastic Melted into a shit covered pavement. It took an incredibly long time too.. I also love the skin on baked potatoes and it was like fucking leather... Honestly i'd ditch the microwave...
Takes far to long.. Step 1: poke holes in tattys Step 2: throw tattys in the microwave for 10 mins while preheating oven. Step 3: coat hot microwaved tattys in melted butter, salt 🧂 and pepper Step 4: throw tattys in the hot oven for 20 mins Step 6: enjoy crispy tattys with whatever fillings you want.
