Honestly, THIS was our Championship game. Ive never paced so much in my life than I did watching this game. The actual Championship game, within 10 minutes of playing TCU, we knew that back2back Championship was ours. But this miracle at midnight was the most amazing way to ring in the New Year. 🎉
Wow!!!!! I get cold chills watching and listening to this. The game of FOOTBALL is like no other. The Peach🍑Bowl looked over at the Rose🌹Bowl; winked its eye while saying, "Hey Grand Dad... Top that."
@@cvc2907it was not targeting… he led with his shoulder… how about you spend your nights reading up on what targeting is and stop being salty. Go Dawgs !!!
I’m 55 and seen a lot of great football plays in my life. The game of football continues to amaze me. One of the greatest games and endings I’ve seen. This one’s unique that it happened when the clock struck midnight on New years. Isn’t football great?!
I feel soooo sorry for that young man he will NEVER let this go... that was another of pressure and a huge fg to win the game if it'd be a 30 yarder and he shanked it that'd be diff
The Ice is real!!!! I pray he doesn't beat himself up about it. You're on a high caliber team. Just practice your position, 9/10 you will return. It's a dream to half a walk off field goal win for a big game. #GoDawgs
It's not his fault they lost. You cant expect college kickers (or even pros) to just nail 50 yard FGs whenever you need it. Not to mention they didnt call any run plays to try to get him better field position leading up to that kick.
Waking up, and still can’t believe it!! Damn good game but way to come out on top UGA!! Always will remember this, let’s finish with a Natty, GO DAWGS!!!!
Georgia fans are the new bama fans. People are going to start hating Georgia because ya win. Welcome to villain hood. Roll tide. I’m rooting for ya tho.
I was watching the New York City ball drop on TV while watching this game on my iPad simultaneously, it was something I can say I never have seen happen before like this
Here's the craziest part of this. It wouldn't have happened if TCU-Michigan didn't go long and Kirby didn't call that timeout before the fake punt, among other small things. Cosmic timing indeed. #MidnightMiracle
Watched the game in a Georgia sports bar. We had glasses raises - I screamed " Don't drink yet!!! Don't drink yet!!! You'll jinx GA!!!". And in 1 sec we toasted GA going to the National Championship. OSU should have won that game, but that's why you recruit the best kickers.
Lifelong Dawg fan - but there is no denying that this game was pretty even. Both teams missed field goals. Extra effort by Bowers and some great coaching calls gave Ga the win.
I don’t want to be that guy, but somebody had to mention the fact that the broadcast is delayed by 5-10 seconds, so it didn’t REALLY line up perfectly for the people there in person. Still cool though
@@mracer8 yes, because every kicker never misses 50 yard shots.... he ray finkled the crap out of it, for sure. But let's not act like a 50 yrd field goal is a gimme. Even pros miss them a lot.
These Chanukah Lights of Mine, I’m gonna let ‘em shine! (His pooping) These Chanukah Lights of Mine! Can you hide them under the table? No! I’m gonna let ‘em shine! (imagination) Can you hide them…. Come with me to the bathroom! You poopded and said “imagination”! O, O, Eeeeiu, Tie, Tu, Tie, Tu, Tie, Tu, Tie, Tu, Tie, Ti, Ti, Ti, Tie, Ti, Ti, Ti, Tie, Ti, Ti, Ti, Tie, Ti, Ti, Ti
I have been in some debates since last night about calls that went Georgia's way. I played HS football as an outside weakside linebacker. I have watched several of those plays from last night and saw several holds that were not called on OSU. That last QB run to set up the GF had holding in it. I looked at that play several times. It was holding. An offensive player can't "grab" a defender.
It's not luck GA won. If that's the case then you can say every teams win could be luck. Oh your lucky because he dropped that pass or fumbled the ball. Man a win is a win. You know how many teams lost games on missed field goals. It's always luck when another team wins and not yours. They said that last year when we played Alabama for the natty. So we lose like 15 players in the draft and still go 14-0 headed into the natty again
Georgia was not the powerhouse I thought they were. Ohio State was the much more physical and balanced team. If the TCU coaching staff does their homework, the Dawgs will be dethroned by the Frogs. Georgia's defensive secondary is weak; and the linebackers aren't much better. There won't be any homefield advantage for the National Championship game; and no team can be that lucky twice.
@@MrTonyMartino , TCU's quarterback was the Heisman Trophy runner-up. If LSU hung 30 points on Georgia with their starting quarterback only playing part of the game, Max Duggan can put 40 on them.
Lucky did not put 42 points on the board, your lack of defense and Georgia’s offense did. It was a good game, accept your loss to a better team. Stroud carried his team as far as he could with an exceptional effort, but like Georgia he had no defense; but, unlike Georgia he had no running game except for his own.
@@traeucity6087 Plenty of garbage time scoring from LSU. Georgia was 35-10 by halftime, they knew game was in the bag. Heisman nominations don't equal talent, Duggan is not comparable to Stroud at all, who was doing unbelievable things last night.
Bottom line UGA secondary got exposed and can’t handle a high octane offense that throws the deep ball. I hope TCU has watched that film tape over and over again because they CAN be beaten!
