@@largecoke4087 Necro and old post, lol. But also too it's a comparative thing. For a lot of people when they go out to get food. They don't nickle and dime the meal. They'll say something like "I don't care about the money. I just want a good hamburger and some fries." So while the difference between a 1000 laptop and a 1300 laptop is money. It's not quite as big of a leap. It's what? 30% more? So if you were going to get a hamburger, and you could get an even better one for 30% more cost -- eh, you may splurge. You're out for a good time. And a lot of times when it comes to business expenses--it can certainly feel that way, lol. What's a 300 dollar difference on a laptop when you're spending thousands on other shit to keep a business a float. Ali probably spends more than 300 a month on just subscription services alone. And that's month to month -- not a laptop that could literally last half a decade

As a writing professional, I'm going to get the M1 13" Pro with basic storage and 16GB memory. The Air does seem to be a great machine though. The slightly better screen and speakers - together with the active cooling - still give the Pro the edge for my usage.

This video is amazing because it holistically shows your review about many aspects of the laptop, such as M1 chip, keyboard, etc. Also, I discovered the benefits of the new M1 chip. Thanks for sharing! I actually bought and using 2020 MacBook Pro with Intel chip because I usually use professional apps such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and programming.

Make sure your good at academics, if your smart already, then go get a scholarship to reduce tuition fees, if your average, make sure to have the money to pay all tuition. If you're poor, get a student loan. Get a laptop that can live around 6+ yrs so that you will not waste chunks of money every 4 yrs.

@@azeemishaq4937 a scholarship isn’t much. You should aim for it but if you want to get into a good school and become a surgeon it’s not just about good grades...or how smart or what class you are in in terms of math and etc. most colleges will definitely look at ur outside things. For example you should maybe play a sport, do things like debate or robotics. These things make you seem more impressive. And furthermore email colleges and ask them to give you an intern when ur older.

@@azeemishaq4937 we're in different countries, but in my case, with that knowledge, getting a scholarship would be not be too much of an obstacle. If you're a well known prodigy, some companies or schools would help you get scholarships but in your case I assume you should study more especially that you're still young so that you can prepare yourself a few years before applying to scholarships. If it happens that you are studying endlessy for a scholarship while studying for college, that will put you in a bad spot. In conclusion, you're smartness is good for applying scholarships, but I want you to have a higher percentage in acquiring the scholarship because you will meet opponents as smart as you. , thus I told you to study as much while you're still young.

Love the review! Apple really killed it this year :) For those working at home with a monitor, I think the Mac mini has the best value by far since they have dropped the price and they have the same chip. It $700 for the same spec and better thermal performance! Would you consider reviewing the mini? Like this if you want to see that happen 👍

I'm planning to use the Laptop for at least 5 years. (I'm writing this on my MacBook late 2013 that still works like a charm.) Considering the Air not having a fan gets me thinking that after 4-5 years and applications requiring more computation power, the fanless Air might not be able to handle the heat anymore... that thought alone makes me consider the Pro more than the Air.

The only real drawback of the M1 is that it supports only 1 external screen ... so depending on your setup, may be a show stopper .. Let’s hope M2 will fix that ;)

This is the MacBook I have! My first Apple laptop. It runs butter smooth and is extremely pleasant to type with. I use it for creative writing mostly, it fills my needs perfectly.

it is!! i’ve noticed it with mine and i’ve noticed lag overall with some other apps. i also noticed the setup at the beginning was slower than i would’ve expected and it froze at one point so i had to restart the laptop. i’m not sure if there’s something wrong with mine

your video on the early 2020 macbook air is what convinced me to buy it... literally two months ago. I'm now seeing this and indeed, it's only downside is the fan noise, specially while being on zoom calls for college. Ugh, wish I would of waited a little longer
