Was wonderful to bump into Aaron in Selfriges. He was in a chair getting pampered and I wandered over and spoke to him. He could have said “go away I’m busy” but he didn’t. He stopped what he was doing and took the time to speak to me and others, even taking a photograph with me. A very nice and polite chap in real life. Take care Aaron.
So jealous! I would love to meet him. I live about an hour from his shop and every now and then a trip to Manchester for whatever reason. I plan to pop in next time I am there and my jaw would drop if he just happened to be there. Also, love how he hates Phantom so much that it's not worth remembering the name! That robot one! Lol.
@@dantrafford8225 fast forward to now and over less than two months I have acquired around 16 of his fragrances. Whatever he’s doing I hope he keeps doing it.
I'm quite amaze to see this review, honestly I thought you were going to destroy this fragrance because of its synthetic feeling, But Im glad to see that you actually loved it. this is one of my favorite fragrances.
If you like quality designer aquatics, this is as safe a blind buy as you can get. I've tried the entire line, and they all do their job very well. Happy hunting
@@HBLW1975 Ordered yesterday and just received it, love it but i think we need to shower with it at least 8 sprays to project and long, , typically for summer heat 🔥👍
Bvlgari Aqva is composed by Jacques Cavalier and is easily one of the best designer aquatics you can get. I think it is a pretty safe blind buy as well.
Would love to see you keep reviewing more “summer-y” fragrances Aaron! I love dark and oriental fragrances as much as you do but unfortunately they’re too heavy for me in the hotter months, especially where I live!

I was pretty shocked by this review. The word "elegant" is not something I would associate with this fragrance. To me it's macho and in your face. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you like, though I don't.
This is my summer signature scent. I love that you love it. I was thinking for your taste this’ll be to generic but I know you respect it for what it can be bought for. So respect to you 👍

I've been wearing THAT (😂) for ten years, in summer, i absolutely agree with you: in the heat this is fresh air also for the people around me (and the heat here in Italy is kind of Hell-Heat) ! But it doesn't project for long, so i'm literally forced to get a shower with it before i go out, in the sunny mornings. Lots of moving hands, see you in the next video Aaron! 💪
Great review and one i totally agree with bvlgari aqua marine is my favourite in the line I've tried this one, marine, and atlantique and all are good quality freshies
Hi Aaron! My husband is now excited to try this! Thank you! By the way, I wore Animalix to work and it was perfect! I smelled amazing & my colleagues who are sensitive to smells even liked it; then, as soon as I got in my car & was free to spray away, I wore Haze Blue the rest of the day over Animalix! So Amazing! Haze Blue gave me the energy I needed for the rest of the (much more fun) day!
I’ve always thought this was an awesome fragrance but never heard any nose about it , nice to hear my own opinion coming from such a knowledgeable perfumer!!!
Aqva and its flankers are generally very good for the mid tier designer market. They're very aware of what their best use case is: hot, sunny, tropical weather. All of them, besides Atlantique as the more standard blue fragrance of the bunch, work wonders for a day at the beach. Spot on with this review, Aaron
Sup fellow Kevin. I think it’s funny how different everyone takes in different scents. For me the atlantique is this most unique. Aqua marine is the most basic summer scent for me.
I haven't dipped into the fragrance scene for a while but this popped up on my recommendations and thought I'd watch as I was keen to see what you thought about a blue fragrance which I own. Echo many other thoughts in that I'm surprised you liked it as much as you did. I might wear this to the gym now even though it is raining and dull. Need a spritzy scent.
Wow, I'm surprised that you liked this one! It is one of my staples--the other flanker is fantastic too, with a nice sea salt. The bottle is a lovely kind of light green. It's called Bvlgari Aqua Marine.
I have not smelled this one, but I have the AQVA Marine flanker. Now I love that scent, because its nice and smooth with the nice amount salt and light sweetness. I also like the seaweed note too , And again its the right amount and does not give off that boiled hot dog water vibe that some of its contemporaries have.. Not obnoxious like a lot of aquatics on the market.
Bvlgari does very sophisticated scents for the price! The Aqva line is superb in terms of quality, price and performance. Unlike Bvlgari Man which unfortunately they’ve been reformulated to death , specially Man in Black .
@@thesnakbar it’s a nice scent but it’s not worth owning a place in Bvlgari line . Very floral l, I remember it’s close to Neroli Portofino but way less expensive . Very floral and soothing, just not my type it smells like a baby cologne 😆 just a little more complex than TF Neroli that I already mentioned.

I started collecting about 2 months back after watching jeremy fragrance in the recomended list on you tube, i was charmed by his clap and twirl lol,but then off i went searching other reviewers and now have a 40 bottle collection,sometimes i sigh at why lol. But when you speak i listen and i just enjoy your take on each fragrance you test. So when you like something i tend to research it more as you seem honest where as i'm not so sure on other reviewers. You have nowt to gain but followers and that i like,so keep on doing what you doing,my fav's are dior homme intense,valentino uomo intense,prada luna rossa black,bleu de chanel parfum and spicebomb extreme,we all have our own tastes eh Aaron

Jeremy started me on my journey as well. It's the strangest interest. I spend a couple hours a day listening to reviews and ordering samples. It's so wierd. It's not a skill or really adds much value to my life but I'm obsessed. Prob not healthy. My plan is getting a handful of scents then peace out for a while. Easier said then done I'm sure
I received my 50ml of the new Maverick today and it's unreal. Opens very similar to Pegasus by Parfums De Marly to me with a sort of almondy, sweet and rich scent. Dries down so well too, really impressed. Also received 16x 2ml samples, couldn't believe it. I ordered Luna and Patchouli Noir 10 mls last time, but really impressed with the service let alone the fragrances.
Hi aaron avoid this brand since i started collecting but after your video i ordered the aqua marine version. I am really impressed with that but thing that got me with that is it gives off a water bubble around you lol really like it and for its price i put on my son in morning for school could still smell it pretty good when he came back put his jumper on and it was still there about 20% 30% on his jumper next dayThanks
Not bad for aquatic-marine. Still my all time favourite in this category is KENZO pour homme with it's aromatic and woody vibe. Then L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey. Just salty smoke with leather gets really nice job. This one however doesn't give you this type of happy bright beach day and nice light blue water vibes. This is more of a deep, dark ocean. It really goes good in grey, rainy and wet day. Finally I got Korres Water Cedar Lime. For me this is just my Greece holiday in a bottle along with Pure Greek Olive Blossom from Korres also. The last one have really strong feminine vibe but it's just smell of Greece for me.
Great summer cheapie. I get a little bit of a Tom Ford Oud Minerale vibe from it too. Fantastic for the price and I've seen it go even lower on discounters. I often use this on holiday and keep it just in the bottom of my backpack to have a spritz while out and about. Another cheap summer banger I love is issey miyake Bleue D'issey. Insanely underpriced
Interesting take by you Aaron.. i never really liked this way back in the day, and today i revisited it again, and not sure about it today either. Not sure if its the woody notes or something, but it does give off some gasoline ish smell. Unless i just have don't understand the fragrance, but does have a strange smell
Hi Aaron. I'm doing great as well. I was wondering if you would contemplate reviewing an older, classic men's fragrance such as Dior's Eau Sauvage Parfum, JHL by Aramis, or Channel's Antaeus? There are some powerful, complex and dirty scents from the past that I'm sure you would enjoy 😉. Cheers.
There are quite a bit remarkable fragrances from Bvlgari I've been using since late 90's - Bvlgari - Black, Bvlgari Au the Blanc - and Bvlgari Avqa. These three fragrances are very hard to come by these days though.
I recently purchased this, AQVA Pour Homme is the best Aquatic in the fragrance world, it doesn't smell synthetic to my nose, this is generally a very safe and very liked fragrance in the community, one interesting fact about this is some people experience a sulfur like smell or rotten eggs on the dry down, I didn't get that but it seems on certain people their body chemistry is causing this anomaly.
I do experience the rotten egg smell even if I spray it on a paper strip or on clothes so is not the skin chemistry, but hey I bought it for $20 in TJ Maxx for the 100mill can't complain.
The only problem I've experienced sampling the Bulgari Aqua (marine and atlantique) line is that seaweedy, borderline fishy smell. I might have try this one after your review
Bvlgari and mugler are some of the fragrance houses that first got me in to fragrance I had recently purchased this fragrance and took it with me on a vacation to the Atlantic Ocean and I brought it to the beach with me one day to take some pictures of it on the ocean rocks and I sprayed it and I immediately knew where the inspiration had come from it truly does smell like the seaside just not the Rose colored glasses version
Yeah I bought that year's ago. I wanted to love it but I just felt that it was okay. Maybe it just didn't suit me. I think I found that to be the case with all of Bvlgaris range, I wanted to at least for in love with something out of there range but never could seem too. They seem to have there own distinctive scent like Salvatore Ferragamo does. Different olfactory genre's of course but a signature that's common threw out there range. Must be a certain supplier of where there buying there ingredients from perhaps. I do love Salvatore Ferragamo though very classy and very stylish fragrance all of them are. You should do a review on one them I'd be interested to know your thoughts cheers.
Bulgari using the Roman “U” drives me absolutely batty. I used to love their Aqua line, but in recent years I’ve been having a really hard time with aquatics, especially when there’s a heavy use of calone. My nose just doesn’t like it anymore.
The way you explain how you'd improve on this I think you should try Aqva Atlantiqve (not to mention the discontinued Aqva Amara). However, the Atlantiqve one smells like boiled eggs to some 🤷
I love it but the bottle bothers me a bit, it takes up so much space 😅 Please review Bvlgari pour homme (base uses vetiver) and Soir, they were my go to in my late teens, created by same perfumer. Ah brings back memories!
Aaron! I'd love for you to smell artisan pure by john vartatos. Its a super interesting fragrance and amazing for the price. Its herbal, citrus and woody! Great summer scent
