It's a really smart solution for extreme winter, like a changing room in a house. Some Celtic roundhouses also had a kind of entryway/arched extension.
Wufh! Sammalmatosta olen kaksi tehnyt pienempää tommosta , ensimmäinen kerros sammalmattoa vihreäpuoli alaspäin ja toinen kerros sammalmattoa vihreä puoli ylöspäin , kun tekee paksusta sammalmatoista näin , tulee niin paksu kerros sammalta että pitää hyvin vettä :-)
POINTTWOFIVEMOA not really... they are easy and fast to make and if you make them well with a fire infront with a reflector and also get off the ground it's likely to save your life
i envy you!..... i've been HOMELESS for decades! there's 100,000 acres of PUBLIC lands behind Berkeley/Oakland, but we can't build such a hidden shelter, there! for decades, the best i could hope for was a brown plastic tarp and a bicycle. (and a loincloth!)
the San Francisco Bay Area is pretty 'cosmopolitan', so EVEN Native Americans' politics are ONLY wrapped around 'genetics & past historical wrongs' and NOT the actual preservation of an outdoor WAY OF LIFE (on the 100,000 acres of PUBLIC lands, here)!!!!!...... over the decades of living an outdoors HIPPIE lifestyle/('homeless'), i've watched a 'hippie town' slowly become HOSTILE(!) to what is basically a NATIVE-inspired counter-culture. 'groovy' Socialists in government label us 'homeless' so they can INVENT A NEED for their expert government housing, 'mental health services', etc. we are their PAWNS!!!!!!!!!!!..... visualize 100,000 acres where the Latin words for thistles & weeds is more important than a 'native' hut, tipi, 'homeless' pack-burros, chickens, etc. the (Black!) poor aren't encouraged to care for & maintain their PUBLIC parklands in a 'traditional' way for educational ECO-TOURISM!!!!!!!!!! that's a lot of public land/(TAXES!) going to waste!..... BLACK HERMITS MATTER!
