Great review! My dad actually wore that cologne when he was in high school and both my parents remember this bottle that’s from the 80s. He also wore Polo Green and also Obsession by Calvin Klein for men. So many memories! My mom had the women’s version of this too from the 80s. Both are great :)

I had a small 50ml oval splash bottle of this one back in the early '90's. I enjoyed it. It's actually been on my "to buy" list in the last couple of years. Your note description is bang on. Thanks for the review 👍

It is the best of this fragrance (stern that is) and one of best fragrances ever in my opinion. Very different from the latter version, which is nice in and of itself

I have this. Smells so damn good. Unfortunately my body chemistry doesn’t agree with it but I still put it on haha. Oh well

Thanks for this review. I actually forgot i had this after buying it 6-7 years ago. It was like $30.00 for a huge bottle, and i bought a few extras for some friends as gifts who were into strong powerhouse old school frags. I'll be sure to include this in my rotation next week.

I actually skipped out on this a numerous amount of times. It constantly ends up in my cart whenever I'm shopping fragrances, never to be purchased as of yet. Glad you reviewed this. Sounds like I should finally pull that trigger

This one is notoriously hard to find in Europe. Heard it's in the same vein of cK Obsession and Lagerfeld Cologne.

I get the slight comparison to Lagerfeld Classic, but to my nose it reminds me of a more dense Xeryus Rouge with added leather & patchouli. I could've sworn this Perry Ellis had a good amount of cinnamon, but it must be the combination of Insense, pimento, pepper, carnation & rose together creating that smell.

@@SeanHH1986 Probably Perry Ellis Red. It's similar to Acqua di Gio from the mid 1990's, but the Red has more cinnamon. It's easy to find, cheap as chips, with good performance. Spring/Summer gym/sport/casual. A grab&go frag up there w/ Nautica Voyage & Tommy Hilfiger 👍

Great review, as always. I really like this cologne. I consider it a “smart reach” when you can’t make up your mind because you can’t go wrong with this no matter the situation or time of day. Just fire the lunatic who designed the atomizer.

I was unable to locate it. So, my guess is that this scent has been discontinued and might have been called Perry Ellis for Men Anniversary Edition Perry Ellis.

I sprayed the crap out of this, how many sprays do you spray with this? I enjoy this, sometimes I think it doesn't project but I think when you sweat it gets "loud" or is it just me?
