I had the very unique opportunity to meet Perry Farrell at a private party he once hosted back in the mid-to-late 90’s in Park City in the very early days of the Slamdance film festival in conjunction with the Sundance film festival. He didn’t know me from my neighbor’s dog yet he still personally welcomed me into his (rented) home as if we were friends. He was gracious, kind, and one hell of a DJ and a master Turntablist. I can’t wait to watch this docuseries!

I hope those that make comments about Perry would try to understand that addiction and heartbreak can age a person. The fact he’s still with us is a miracle. And while part of his issues were self induced he’s still a beautiful soul. I hope you don’t have to endure half of what he has.

Also, Perry helped to free slaves in a third world part of the world! With his own money!

Love the docuseries I remember the early years. I was too young to go until 1995, but that was a really magical year for me because I just discovered Sonic Youth, and got to see Beck play odelay songs before it was even released and before he blew up. I also got to see Coolio, Cypress Hill for the first time. To have seen Hole during this time was great even if Courtney spent most of the time screaming at the audience and complaining about Kurt’s death. I also went to the first show of the 2003 tour that was really great other than the rain that delayed everything for like 30 min and Janes Addiction only playing for like 30min. Now I’m too old to go out and spend multiple days in massive crowd that it has become. But it’s still great for the newer generations to experience it!

Loved the docuseries so much! Of course I knew of lolla back when it first started but didn’t attend until 2011 and it was incredible. Perry’s truly a visionary and embodies such a special vibe.

Hope Perry gives Casey some credit on this footage. I doubt it though.

Looking at Fairy Apparel bums me out. Then I hear him try to sing, and it’s full blown depression

I seriously struggle to connect the Perry Farrell that existed between 1985 to 2003 to the one we see today. What the hell..dude turned into the typical old shallow Botox filled Hollywood glitterati lol.

'You have to age with grace and not fight it' - Okay. That's why you now look like a 25 year old lizard, Perry Farrell.
