Like many iconic heroes there's many through different realities with only one being the original in this case the original and an alternate earth version are simply one in the same 2 different identities same mind like puppets of each other.
I AM THOU THOU ART I THOU HAST ESTABLISHED AN UNBREAKABLE BOND TO UNITE ALL OF MANKIND THOU HAST UNLOCKED THE ABILITY TO CONJURE THE ULTIMATE FORM OF THE N ARCANA
black mark is real and is all there ever will be white skin mark is not real and is a figment of your imagination and that is that and that is all there will every be god bless you and good night
@@balanceherosmt7170 I'd love to see the meeting where they were discussing how to bring P1 characters into Eternal Punishment, when someone brings up -"erm... we can't have Mark... you see what we did in the US version of the game *screen fades to black and back in...* -"...yeah we can't have Mark"
Honestly, this made me think about the marketing in the states and the series themes of mask and the "status quo" and the penis demon, cool shades hitler, and the like. You're right on so many levels Mark/Masao should be their mascot for the americas.
@@JJ18355 nope, appeared in the Snow Queen quest of 1. Kenta has pent up sexual feelings for Yuki; and Mara, exploiting his feelings for her, manifest in him and burst out of his chest, telling him he's a persona. Whole reason half of persona Revelations was cancelled.
@@JJ18355 sure man. I was only a fan of them at the release of that game and got a Japanese PlayStation and another copy of the game to play through it while reading a translation. Akuma is a race, which Mara is of, btw, Poindexter. Go take this to that RU-vid video you're getting this tripe from. He's wrong, dude.
Yo-Kai Watch actually started doing the same thing since the second installment. I'm so sick and tired of people calling Yo-Kai Watch a Pokémon ripoff! Everyone with at least two brain cells can call SMT (most of it)! Get your ripoffs right!
I feel like 90% of the time, someone would attack automatically. Nate trying to kill Guido immediately during the Tiny fight made the music start, so did RatTank shooting at MC
@@Endangeredworlds you can call yo kai watch "hardly inspired" at least, but with just seeing some screenshots you can tell that its not crossing the rip-off line
@@Endangeredworlds Yo-kai watch doesn't even reminded me of Pokemon.Heck, the Yo-kai watch franchise reminds me of the Megaten franchise (Especially Raidou Kuzunoha)
my favorite part was when mark said “I’m gonna persona all over these shadows” and then proceeded to persona everywhere, you just don’t find this stuff in the newer games
I've been playing the PSP version with a patch that plays the original PS1 soundtrack, and hearing this song for the first time in proper context made me so happy.
Atlus needs to bring the PSP version to modern platforms with the PSOne soundtrack in tact or the ability to choose it. Because it is SO much better than the rearranged one Meguro-san did, he might be an amazing composer, but this was a swing and a miss that was so bad that I legit did not get the game because of how godawful it was.
I started playing persona one and the only thing I can say other than I really like it is that for some reason mark is always the one getting stabbed and bitten by demons during negotiations
The thumbnail depicts the moment after the party defeats the final boss, in wich Masao reveals himself as the secret boss, along with his other self : Mark ! together they plan to merge localized & original canon , turning it into their own twisted fanfiction (true evil)
Sooooo if Atlus ever wanna make a cameo of older persona characters what's Mark supposed to be? As one comment said Atlus forever gave Mark a identify crisis.
Kenichi Tsuchiya is very special at Atlus, shame he doesn't compose more themes. Meguro and him joined Atlus simultaneously. But I guess Persona doesn't want to be this dark and old school anymore since P3. Kouji Okada was the director and Kaneko created the art direction. Persona was created by both Okada and Kaneko.
@@KatelynS0209yeah, Persona is definitely Aoki’s baby, but it gave some of the new composers a space to shine, like Tsuchiya, Meguro and Okibe. Weird that Masuko wasn’t there
I do understand the localization team though. It might have been hard (or they thought it was hard, because there wasn't much testing before.) To market a game taking place fully in Japan into the US. So I do understand some of their choices. And this image is pretty funny
God I hope they bring the PSP remake to modern platforms but allow us to switch between the original and arranged soundtracks. The remake's boss battle theme and battle themes in general do not hold a candle to this. Seriously, you just want to wail on some bad guys when this is cranking in the background. The other one just makes you want to sleep.
Problem is that the PSP version's ost is set up very differently. It has way less tracks and lacks nuances the original had (specifically the battle music seamlessly looping and ending at any time, as well as the portion of the boss theme that only plays before you start the fight).
@@CatManThree so true, ha ha, it literally pales in comparison to the original in so many ways it isn't funny. Meguro-san might be an awesome composer but that was a massive black mark on his record. The battle songs just sucked shit. Still, would love for a modern port of this game with the original soundtrack in as an option.
@@CatManThree welp, in which case, just give us the original soundtrack and a second rearranged version of it that doesn't suck shit, and simply updates the instrumentals to have additional layers. Fuck the crappy PSP AST.
