@@dinasov9 for example they could have made him really REALLY agressive at the end when you defeat the last shadow because he just wants to see his plan fulfilled. But Sees wouldn't question it or even think it's cuz he is happy that it is almost over.

Not really. I mean, sure, it was desperate and all, but I'm not a voice actor, and I can do as desperate as she can. Seriously. For me, some (not the entirety) of the best moments of voice acting are the most difficult ones. For example, David Hayter voice acting an old, creppy Solid Snake. Honestly, that guy deserved an Oscar for making Old Snake
Wish they had kept in that music cue from Persona 1 (the piano at the end) for the remake. It was chilling to hear that when I first saw this cutscene. It made me think about how, this whole time, Ikutsuki was just wearing his own form of a persona to the party.
god i miss the cinematography in this version. the way the shadow gradually creeps up his body at 2.19 as he falls is so good. also just the brevity of this scene without feeling the need to overexplain the setting/motivations like in Reload
+MetaKnightx77 Actually, I think that is very fitting of his character. He's not afraid of death...that's why using the evoker and summoning his persona the first time wasn't a big deal to him.
Holy sh*t, when my friend first introduced me to this game, I told her that Ikutsuki seems like someone who would become a traitor in the end. Now I know why she gave me odd looks when I said that.
Never anticipated. Not even a grin, or a hint. I feel Ikutsuki outplaced exactly the same way the Zootopia's real antagonist was. Just for impact and shock. At least before he was a decent characters, and no one dimensional typical villian.
I know that this is a 4 year old comment but I still wanna toss in my 2 cents. I personally feel like the anticipation is the fact that he somehow knows about all of this information such as personas, shadows, and how to "end" the dark hour (which not even Mr kirijo knew about) despite just being a relatively normal person. I was always sort of suspicious of his extensive knowledge from the beginning which all sort of cascaded into this moment, that's just how I see it though.
You either "never see it coming" or you are into Ikutsuki's bullsh*t since the begining. He is a suspicius guy who can't use a Persona but is awake during the dark hour. I was expecting him to be evil.
@@rodcasascordero1712u realize Mitsuru's father was awake despite not wielding a persona like her? I guess they just weren't affected by it like that due to some reason
Was Koromaru even crucified like the others? I think that Ikutski couldn't have been dumb enough to leave the persona wielding dog alone, so that's why I even asked.
To be fair... and I do use that term loosely, the man was so unsubtle about his intentions that I can very well believe he was that stupid. Honestly, the more shocking part was that no-one caught onto him long before this.
I much preffered kirijo dad's death in p3 vanilla. Because they are animated. And the scens filled with gloomy background,unlike 3d that we see in reload 😢
I think the animation gave them a lot more ways to portray this as way more horrifying than in reload, since I notice they get VERY CREATIVE with the camera movements by lowering fps and using ceftain frames for some bits and it just adds a whole lot more to an impactful effect rather than how in reload it's just a bland 3d cutscene where no effects really take place in and they're not as experimental with the animations anymore. the muted color palette with barely any sort of light reflected from any source is really a unique way to portray how dark rhe momebt eeally is and plus the specific effects shown right before mitsuru's dad was shot just add into that horror. It's such a different and unique effect that can't really be achieved with the 3d cutscenes they were aiming for and they'd only really be able to achieve it if they decided to step out of their comfort zone again like they did here or sumb
I love how at no point do you ever find out what the hell he was talking about with the "prince" and "prophecy" stuff, or why he wanted to sacrifice all of SEES. There's no indication that doing so would have sped up Nyx's arrival. And also at no point before this did *anyone* question literally anything he ever told them about Shadows and Tartarus, and after he dies they basically never talk about him again in the main story. 10/10 writing, this entire sequence is so dumb and confusing that calling it a plot twist is generous
Aw, if it cheers you up bud. I'm relatively certain the SEES team felt the same way because it's the only way I can rationalise them not catching onto him within the first 20 minutes.
In my opinion, i think this was one of the few cutscences in reload I found better than the og version Yea, the cutscence direction was a lot better but it felt way too over the top with this one than the others
I knew it. Playing this game blind and not knowing anything but I still somehow knew it. I never trusted him from the start and he always gave me a weird vibe.
Reload is a great game but they really dropped the ball with the cutscenes imo. Way less anime cutscenes and the ones they decided to do as anime were lame ones like Junpei being a perv on the beach rather than this incredibly important and dramatic scene.
Nooo Why Ikutski-san ... why?? I had believed in him xD I thought he is one of the good people D: But that laugh at the end was a little bit creepy xD I think I'm going to miss his bad jokes :D Hm .. well no matter ^^
There is absolutely no way she'd have ever been able to defeat SEES let alone the Protagonist. She's weak to Zio and is going up against several enemy Persona users at once. Only a couple Zios from Akihiko Ken or Makoto would've incapacitated her easily. This whole scene makes zero sense.
Its much more good for the story if ikutsuki betrayal become boss fight. Ikutsuki with death or devil arcana (mahakala orBeelzebub) with aigis orgia mode can easily decapitating SEES 😢
