Yukari and mitsuru - fighting for there key to go back to save minato Akihiko and ken - fighting for there key to stop the two from going back Junpei and koromaru - same reason as akihiko and ken but not because of stopping yukari and mitsuru but wanted to keep aigis alive
@@kite0impulse Makoto Yuki is his canon name, even in the anime, Minato Arisato is his manga name, and it's just mainly used because people confuse P3 Makoto with P5 Makoto
The Answer was clearly designed with gameplay taking priority over story. I really like the angle they decided to go with, but I strongly feel that it wasn't executed well enough to sufficiently suspend disbelief.
something i didn't quite understand with these battles is why aigis had fuuka on her team. yes, supposedly aigis could have been in potential danger, but would it not make more sense for the opposing team to have fuuka, given that aigis' abilities and skill sets were constantly changing? and yeah, since the person playing is fighting as aigis, it makes sense for them to have some support, but idk, it just seems unfair.
The idea was that each party member was their own person, the same way you can't control your friend's actions, the protagonist couldn't control the actions of his own friend's. It makes sense thematically in line with the Persona series, but from a gameplay standpoint it really doesn't make sense when your party AI is hellbent on making your life as hard as possible.
By the end of the journey, they lost Makoto and Shinjiro, and then Metis comes trying to kill them (Aigis aside) then joins to get through the Abyss and now they're fighting. Geez...
Obviously Yukari is commiting a great mistake and Akihiko and Ken was the most logical was to act but thats its the thing a lot of people doesn't get it that is "pure logic" they totally lack of empathy about others people grief of the group only because they were capable of move on, they were ready to throw hands at the minimal disagree because they were "right", their attitude of "get over it" specially with Yukari's situation only helped to escalate things more
Yes. That is human nature, emotions can easily overcome logic. Yukari has cared for Makoto to the point of having feelings for him even if he had rejected her to stay as platonic friends. Likewise, if for a FeMC version, Akihiko would more or less be the one to lose it as he knows and regrets that he couldn't save Kotone and felt so powerless on 31 Jan. That lack of strength that reminded him how powerless he was losing Miki and/nearly Shinjiro (but take it that since the S.Links are maxed, Shinjiro is still active for the Answer). He would have felt that his resolves are worth nothing if he couldn't prove otherwise. His only option he felt would have been going back in time to save Kotone. Likewise, Yukari trusts her friendship with Kotone, being able to share things with her friend she otherwise would be less comfortable with. Yukari herself knows that she died on that day with the reason to give everyone else the time, just as she can acknowledge her father did good. She is the one to want to move on to honor the deceased' meanings for their actions.
(Yukari and Mitsuru appear from the other end of the arena!) Yukari: ...Um... I never thought that we have to go this far to settle our fights. Honestly, I was worried I'd have to face Sanada-senpai's team first... But... I can breathe easier now. Fuuka: Aigis: Yukari-chan! (Fuuka enters the arena!) Mitsuru: Yamagishi... Yukari: ...It's okay, Fuuka. You don't have to worry about us. You should help Aigis' team. Metis did say her life is at risk. It'll be better if she gets the help she can. Fuuka: Yukari-chan... (Fuuka went over to your side...) Yukari: Okay... Let's do this. Mitsuru: Aigis, have you decided what you will do with all the keys? Aigis: I... I can't fight against... (...Yukari prepares her bow!) Yukari: If you still haven't decided on this, you're not getting our keys easily!
Akihiko: Come on, let's go now! I can go back to the past, I can save her with this chance! I'll get all of the keys from you all, even if means we have to fight! Mitsuru: Akihiko, calm down! We can't risk this. We have spent a year fighting alongside her, we can't let it all be for naught. That said, I will not hand over my key for your wish. Junpei: Guys, guys... If we keep fighting over the keys like this, something awful might happen to Aigis! Yukari: Junpei, I know you're trying to help, but look at what's happening here! And we still can't trust Metis if she's going to be all about Aigis' sake! Even if we did, can we really believe that taking that key from Aigis will kill her? All the days we spent with her means the most to me, and I won't let anyone else undo what she has done!
@@bienbenedict which is a dumb reason , they could just settle it with an agreement like when they did when they're trying to decide to either kill Ryoji or let him live
The problem was Takeba wanted to go back to the past, during the fight against Nyx with Minato. However no one else really wanted to nor tamper with the past except for Takeba and Mitsuru. Pretty much Takeba trash talked Aegis and said she doesn’t deserve to gain the wild card after Minato and all that stuff.
Tum Tum actually if you put it that way they really did try to make you think she was an enemy, I hate when shows force that type of crap and deceive you like that. But also she didn’t feel any sympathy for them cuz she didn’t know any of them all she had on her mind is to protect her sister so it’s kinda understandable plus she’s not completely human but it’s kinda hard to forgive. Btw I finished the answer not long ago so I’m happy.
I'm getting real annoyed with the whole "sister" trope she has. It's like she physically *must* call Aigis her sister in ever single sentence she says.
@@Percy0412 The script is translated from Japanese, and Onee-Chan is a respectful way to refer to your older sister, Metis is attempting to show respect to Aigis.
