Wow that basil is growing really tall! Definitely thinking of getting one of these Personal Rise Gardens. Do you find that the plants grow a bit leggy because of the unadjustable lights?

I used to worry about that myself but I haven't found it to be an issue. I can only assume that they have properly calculated the intensity of the lights to ensure that they don't get leggy.

Does your pump turn off after a few minutes or run continuously? Mine turns off after 5 minutes and I read somewhere that it’s normal but the company sent me a new pump which I installed and I’m still having the same problem

Yes the pump on the Personal Garden does not run or need to continuously.

How much time do you need to spend on it weekly in order to maintain it?

Depending on what I am growing bit it really doesn't take much at all. Adding nutrients and a little pruning should only take a few minutes. The longest time is the cleaning which I do anytime I change veggies or deep clean once every 6 months.

I purchased this one after my two level Rise. I like that I can place it in my kitchen and use it for playing around and experimenting with new plants. Once Rise introduced their microgreens, this came in very handy. I also grew bare root strawberries as well. It allowed me to manage my space and pH better.
