I like the helpful tip of sketching in where the shadows go. I never did that prior to watching this lesson. I never thought of doing that, but it really is a useful map. I am happy that I found this perspective lesson because you explain things so well, and I got a ton of knowledge from it. Thanks for sharing what you know. I keep drawing materials in the rooms I am in the most so it is second nature to create no matter where I am or what the hour because of easy access to my assortment of ready-to-use supplies no matter what part of the house I'm in! Thanks for this great easy to follow lesson!

tfs, another awesome vid :) i am a draftsperson and one thing the taught us with your road being off from the rest of your perspective is to ignore it till you get a the rest of the drawing roughly in the sketch, that way it doesn't throw everything else off. maybe this will help your followers.

Hi! I have only been drawing since Nov. 2020 and I have been confused about perspective drawing for houses and buildings. I have this one Victorian complicated house that had me stumped on how to draw it properly. I was even dreaming about this house! I just discovered your channel and watched this video and suddenly it made sense to me. I had a photo of this house I wanted to draw, and I taped large pieces of blank paper all around it, then got a long ruler and different colored pens and started drawing in the vanishing point lines, each vanishing point in a different color, and suddenly it all made sense and clicked for me. No wonder I couldn't draw this at first--it was a 5-point perspective going on! But I get it now, at least at a novice level, so thank you so very much. I feel like I found a goldmine of information here, as I love watercolor as well,, so I will continue to watch!

I dont think the painting CRAP- it looked unfinished! Thanks for this lesson! The second example I completely forgot from gradeschool! The 3rd I had never seen or noticed, except maybe in San Francisco ;-)
