First-year law student Jennifer Coulter talks about when she lost her sight, the skills she had to learn and the resources on campus for the visually impaired.
I'm always amazed at those who lose vision and are so well adjusted. I've been visually impaired all my life, & think it would be worse to know what I'm missing. I guess it's always more comfortible to take the known than speculate on the unknown. & college books (at least when I went) were awful, because the ones available on tape were always last year's edition, & the professor, of course, always wanted a new or different edition.
