Ikr. Lol. I'm from s.a. and got nailed yesterday. Love the question at the end. "Canberra, do you really want to do this?" Can't wait. Good on ya Jimmy. You got ya finger on the pulse.
Not knowing which beach to go to is a massive problem. Like, sometimes the beach will be way too over crowded and you'll have to share the beach with a whole other person, it's torture!
They've finally decided to fix the bridge situation, but then after I heard that announcement I heard a truck got stuck under a bridge in West Perth (guessing near Scitech) so maybe it will take the mantle 😅
@@itsbuddhaone 🤣 when do you think the first Hungry Jacks opened . I doubt Im going to make 100 at this rate but most likely to last longer than many in our new age
How on earth does someone who doesn't live in Perth get it SO RIGHT?!! 😂 I watching this, laughing, and also thinking "wait...this isn't normal everywhere else in Aus???" 🤣🤣
Dry heat for the win 🏆 There was a national Venturer Scout camp here a few years back and it was a hot dry summer so first aid was constantly busy with kids from the eastern states who couldn't stay hydrated enough. Then I go over there and everyone is rugged up on a morning in November and I'm sweating like crazy 😂
Can confirm accuracy, although even more emphasis needed on the two degrees of separation everywhere you go! Everyone knows someone who knows someone in common with you. Speaking as someone who grew up in the south west and then moved to Perth after high school. Oh you aren't interested? Why wouldn't you want to know where I grew up?
no this was what i thought was missing lol. Like he mentioned Heath Ledger and I'm like yeah he was from Perth - but also I know one of his family members and have mutual friends with another one - and that's how it goes with everyone lol. Every time I find a Perth person interstate/overseas I try to work out who our mutual friends are lol and it never takes long. one guy and I were trying to work out who for weeks and it turned out I knew his girlfriend.
As someone from Perth who has lived in Sydney and now resides in Melbourne these are hilarious 😂 and my new favourite things to watch. The only thing to add would be "telling everyone your from Perth bc it's easier then explaining where you actually from in WA"
We lived in Esperance before moving to Perth and then back east a couple of years later, the only thing most people know about Esperance (if they know anything at all) is that picture of the roo on the beach they use for tourism. Gave up explaining where exactly in the middle of bumfuck nowhere Esperance is - neither 'directly south of Norseman on the highway' or 'just at the end of that bump on the south coast before the Bight starts' really work. South coast is the only thing that really works.
I’m from Perth, now live in Melbourne and have spent many years living on the Gold Coast. Have also lived short periods in Byron Bay and Brisbane. These vids are so accurate. The only thing I’d add is the speed/traffic light cameras and personalised plates in Perth.
😂😂😂 Calling the Premier daddy is just CREEEEEEEPYYYY And Active Wear and New Zealand make another appearance 🤣🤣🤪 Thanks Jimmy! This series is GOLD ⭐️⭐️⭐️🏅🏅🏅 Enjoy your time in Perth👏🏻👏🏻😁
Thing I noticed when working on phones was how many people from Western Australia spoke with an English accent. I think a lot of English people get to Australia via Perth and decide to stay...
We Westralians take this as an insult - Once we declare independence and become our own country we will be able to censor youtube and stop this anti WA drivel, and easterners will require a visa to cross the border. AFL will finally become an international sport :)
Accurate expect for hideous coffee, we actually have some nice coffee. Sounds like something a Melbourne 'wanker coffee' drinker would say 😜. Edit: I see the coffee cup in the video now
Nah, I've been in some gorgeous super fancy cafes that I think will be my new favourite, only to realise their coffee is terrible. We have some nice coffee, but you've got to find it and stick with it!
and the picture of our Boathouse! I laugh that the so much money is spent on "tourist landmarks" (bell tower comes to mind) that don't attract close to the number of visitors as the Boathouse!!! I even read on a tourist site that a picture with the Boathouse is a must. But it's unfortunate that it is close to a busy road, no parking or toilet facilities 🤣🤣
😂😂😂 - Just loved this!!! As an West Australian 🇦🇺 living overseas it's nice to here the funnies and realities of home! I was also home recently so this makes it more funnier 😂😂😂
I’m a Sandgroper living in QLD for the last 20 years and so homesick 😭 You are so spot on mate! Except you forgot that the people in WA are way much better looking than those in East! My QLD family noticed that when we all went over on holidays. They noticed less over weight people too
Well....our internet actually comes from Singapore not over East and having had Melb coffee...I don't think there's much difference with ours. Just isn't 20 different styles 😆 otherwise yeah pretty much to a T
Yeah...nah, that was pretty accurate. Although I managed to get a hole in my eye, not my head, from a magpie. WEAR YOUR SUNNIES IN SWOOPING SEASON KIDS!
So accurate, especially the package one. So you know how everyone on RU-vid is American, when i figured out they got packages in 2 days i was like “woah thats a thing?”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I moved to Perth 20 years ago from Europe and this was the best video ever 👍😋 after all that time here those Perthlings still walk backwards 👏👏👏😂😂😂😂😂yup just wait awhile ay😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
