It’s funny because Dyson has since changed the brushroll design on the ball series to make it internally driven, as well as a side slide out design like the Sebo.

I’ve had my shark lift away for 8yrs. It’s not cleaning as well but never had a problem. Then again I’ve always kept the filters and brush roller cleaner.

The Wessel Werk turbo tools also have a line through the brushroll to make it easier to clean out like a full size brushroll 😅. I like and dislike the Wessel Werk turbo tools at the same time but they usually work better than say the Hoover and Bissell ones. They just have a learning curve to get used to and should probably be cleaned out once a month or so depending on severity of use.
