Peter deserves all the honors. He is the AUTHENTIC "Catman" and an icon in Kiss. I hope he comes out from that retirement and records 2 or 3 albums more.
Peter el Mejor. El que empezó desde cero y desde abajo con Kiss. Con las baterías más humildes y tocando como y donde podían y en un principio hasta rechazados por un público no acostumbrado a la propuesta Kiss. Luego vino la lógica fama de lo novedoso y auténtico . Aparte de su puesto en batería, aportó en Kiss su voz, la mejor del rock pesado según Gene Simmons, aunque su estilo solista fue en principio melódico. Sus baladas son excelentes.
Peter will always be my favorite KISS member! I told my friend that he was my favorite and for my birthday she found a Catman figure and now I keep it over my record player!
And this was in 1995 he even was developing arthritis back then I mean he wasn't just complaining while he was with kids and didn't want to play that was his dream to get back with that band. It overwhelmed in the whole time he was on the road with him but you got to the point where he just couldn't play anymore like an 2003-2004. but it didn't matter what device is about him he still one of the 50 greatest drummers of all time he's probably right around 48 or 49! But when he was in his prime he was a machine. You got to think about it too he's 10 years older than the other guys in the band I mean he hit his prime probably 10 years before the rest of the guys in Kiss did Hell in 79 right before he left the band or got kicked out I mean he was in his mid-forties by then. The rest of the guys were probably in their late thirties early forties

The guys in Kiss wonder why Peter Criss has such a hard time playing drums look at the arthritis in his fingers. Paul Stanley Gene Simmons had arthritis in their fingers like that they wouldn't be able to play anymore either. same thing with the greatest drummer on the planet Neil Peart he can't play anymore because of arthritis not too much in his fingers though but in his joints. That's why he had to stop touring with Rush.

+nateswitch yea, Nate, I always thought Gene n Paul were a bit too abrasive with Peter and Ace's , shall we say rustic presences...but when you need help spelling "fans" , that's indicative of even a bigger academic loss than just a failure of self-help or independent learning. That is a total reckless abandonment exceeding apathy and lethargy. When people get to the point of almost priding themselves on ignorance, I feel like the deportation papers should be submitted; we live in too great a country for that. ..
+nateswitch and don't get me wrong Nate...I LOVE Ace and Peter..I'm a huge fan of blues/soul/r&b. ..so naturally I think Peters 1978 solo album kicked ASS!...so I'm not jumping on any "bandwagon" picking on the 2 colloquial personalities in the band....
Believe it or not even in this day and age there are many people who can't read or write or do so at a very low grade level. They learn to compensate just like anyone with barriers but still it's sad and in most cases should never happen if just a little effort was exerted.
