Vegas Golden Knights fan here. Nothing but respect for Pete. He's a great coach and a good guy. I'll be pulling for Dallas to pull it out. They deserve it.

@@CA-sl2xw Most likely due to his general smugness, but especially how he handled the goalie situation, which led to Fleury ultimately being dealt. Also, its the only time we missed the playoffs.

Great win for the Stars. That series was a grind and both teams had to be on top of their games defensively. If the Stars keep playing like that, there's no reason they can't take home the cup this year. Well done.

PDB is the perfect coach for the Stars…doesn’t get too high after the wins and doesn’t get too low after the losses. Should be a great series vs the Avs.

I think it was a win-win for both teams!!! Dallas is happy with Pete and Vegas is happy with Bruce. Sometimes you just have the right coach for the right team. Bruce Cassidy is a perfect fit for Vegas. Pete is obviously a perfect fit for Dallas. I love my coach Bruce and losing this series doesn’t change my mind one bit. Best of luck Dallas and Pete

@@CA-sl2xw LOL. OK bro. I'm a hockey player, and hockey coach, in Dallas. I root for the Stars, but I can respect another team's coach. Cassidy is a hell of a good coach from what I've seen, better than some we've had in Dallas, and better than most in the NHL. Quit being so quick to try to pick a fight and engage in an educated conversation. Or go back to cheering on the Cowboys.

Yeeeeah pretty active Stars fan here and I don’t think I saw any fellow fans saying he should go. We’ve watched and cheered through many game and series comebacks. I would have been shocked and concerned if we had gotten to 0-3, but at 0-2 I told my wife we can do it and that was about all I said.
