We went to the July 6,1977 concert. Watched the Ca. Angels BB game the night before and never left the parking lot, so we were first in line as well. Security never cared. Rick Derringer, Foghat and The J. Geils Band opened.
thats awesome wish i grew up then the music was THE best and people actually played their instruments and the crowd was into it kinda learned about Frampton from my sister remarkable guitarist
1976 was a great year for music. I graduated high school that year and we were so lucky to have grown up with all the great music the 70s produced, and with no Autotune! 🤘

Me too but I was 18. Great music back then and especially Frampton. One of the world's best guitarists. Music doesn't have the quality or raw talent now. Glad I was there to experience it all! My adult kids love it too.
Before I comment I like to read other comments and I agree with different points of view 1st yes,I agree that 1976 was a great year,as that's when I went into the Army and ROCKN ROLL,was very popular and the BRITISH INVASION had started with the BEATLES, and many talented music artists were emerging from the SHADOWS, just to be DISCOVERED BY THE FLOCK,but since then, music has taken on very different forms like Jazz,acid rock and roll,heavy metal, and Funk,etc but tickets are very expensive so I wait to it's on UTUBE.
What a bummer, 10 min song being cut short, where peter introduces each member of the band, while singing "Do You Feel Like I Do." Should have played the whole song.
He's also playing wrong chords and positioning on Do you feel like we do (I play it). The editor obviously chopped the song at one point and picked it up on the wrong chord. No one will notice. Yeah we guitar players do.
